If he stays and liverpool didnt win or give a serious title challenge, definately he will leave. High risk.

QUOTE(carloz28 @ Jul 27 2017, 10:56 PM) Do you know how hard it is to find a player who can fit into Liverpool's mould. Which is why, I would never want him to leave, definitely not with him around his prime. But then this being a business, u know that when an offer is too good to turn down, it would be a deal. If we have to sell him, which I think we do, definitely have to extract the max value out of him. Let's just hope that we have a good season next and it would be enough to dissuade him from joining up with his best mate. After Owen left, it costed Rafa like 4-5 duds before we land Our 20 goal a season striker. And those duds didn't come cheap. And course, there is this saying 'no player is bigger than the club' which fans like to echo. Yea true, but the journey to replace the Coutinho may well be more arduous and costly than we think it is. Which midfield player we have in our stable who is playing at the same level as Coutinho? Lallana? Henderson? Gigi? Not even close. Ever why we keep on rebuilding? This is exactly why we always end up in the same conundrum. It is not everyday we will get a Suarez after Torres left. Think about it. Money isn't everything. |

Why wait until next season? We have qualified for CL playoffs, barring any fuckups from Klopp or the players we should be in group stages Now is the best time for FSG to show ambition and bring in class players to show that Liverpool can be a force to reckon with and can stand alongside the ranks of Barca and Real Madrid in terms of competitiveness. When Liverpool becomes like Barca, then only players don't have the proclivity to move out if you catch my drift. Fark, I bet Suarez will even bite someone to rejoin us. Sadly, FSG is only looking to balance the account books so that John buy a new yacht. You think they are interested to invest the proceeds back into the club? Now we are targeting Lanzini as a replacement. For 20mil? What will happen to otheR 69mil? What a joke these owners are. #FSGout This post has been edited by carloz28: Jul 28 2017, 01:47 AM |

QUOTE(RedSiglap56 @ Jul 27 2017, 09:05 PM) If I were FSG, I'll take it. That's crazy money and the Premier League is the priority. YeahWith that cash, I'm sure Klopp can do a lot, and we do have quite a glut of good midfielders already this season. So much of madness and wayang in the market this season! Hahaha! I mean, do you honestly believe that Neymar won't take the money from PSG because his buddies persuaded him to stay?!! FSG may just take it. And KLopp may walk........... Start all over again. |

This will clearly show FSG and Liverpool ambition in dealing with Coutinho. Selling him means another few years of rebuilding and finding another gem to replace him. There is no way we can buy someone on the same caliber as Coutinho in one month time.

Especially when the player is a South American who just wont have good time outside football in England. Whether or not they re-invest the proceeds to strengthen us if someone eventually leaves still remain to be seen. So far while they havent really forked out anything from their own pockets, I havent seen them trying to do a Mike Ashley. But yeah, it's a cause for concern. |

we will be fxxked if we allow couth to go in any price tag. This shows we don't have ambition to challenge to the top, instead of spending money on getting players like Naby and Dick and now we selling? I hope this is just newspaper trying to sell papers with this rubbish! Klopp already said Neither Couth and Can will leave club this summer, if both of them left meaning klopp will be next

Klopp already said Neither Couth and Can will leave club this summer, if both of them left meaning klopp will be next I think it definitely wont be this summer. Barca dont appear to have much bullet to operate in the transfer market, even if the fees can be paid by installments.Oh this is also our first proper UCL campaign (I rmb we still have to navigate thru the qualifier) under the ownership of FSG, they would have to be really unwise to screw themselves over. We lost Suarez and had Balo as his replacement, so last time out didnt count. This post has been edited by Lionel90: Jul 28 2017, 10:21 AM |

QUOTE(yeelong @ Jul 28 2017, 10:24 AM) They would have the bullet, but their pull would be reduced. I dont know how much to believe, but it seems Cout prefers to play alongside Neymar than playing at Camp Nou.Our biggest worry should be PSG instead actually. God knows if they really drop 200m on Neymar how much they're willing to go for Cout. As things stand, Barca still have more pressing needs, Messi as no.10 isnt the biggest problem for a team after all! |

QUOTE(prophetjul @ Jul 28 2017, 10:52 AM) Yeah....but it is designed to curb the rich man. It's more of an accounting thing. Doesnt matter installment over 10 or 50 years. QUOTE(prophetjul @ Jul 28 2017, 10:52 AM) Yeah....but it is designed to curb the rich man. from what i read so far, neymar 200m is the limit for this summer. i dont think any club can afford to buy neymar + coutinho at the same time without violating ffp. Even for PSG, 200m for Neymar PLUS another 100+ for Couts? That's probably far reaching as far as FFP is concerned. Unless they can nego payment for the players say, over 10 years my personal opinion, hold on to coutinho, the same for emre can. |

In that the sponsors was their own related company! So just need "sponsorship" to balance it up. And they do have "sponsors" ready to do so. Assuming I'm correct anyway... In accounting(stand to be corrected), you can spread your payments over 10 years, your annual books will balance better. FFP looks at their yearly cashflow, whether they are balanced in that aspect. Hence, if they can nego to spread their payments, their cashflow will be much better for FFP |
