I think it definitely wont be this summer. Barca dont appear to have much bullet to operate in the transfer market, even if the fees can be paid by installments.

Oh this is also our first proper UCL campaign (I rmb we still have to navigate thru the qualifier) under the ownership of FSG, they would have to be really unwise to screw themselves over. We lost Suarez and had Balo as his replacement, so last time out didnt count.

They would have the bullet, but their pull would be reduced. I dont know how much to believe, but it seems Cout prefers to play alongside Neymar than playing at Camp Nou.

Our biggest worry should be PSG instead actually. God knows if they really drop 200m on Neymar how much they're willing to go for Cout.

from what i read so far, neymar 200m is the limit for this summer. i dont think any club can afford to buy neymar + coutinho at the same time without violating ffp.

In accounting(stand to be corrected), you can spread your payments over 10 years, your annual books will balance better.
FFP looks at their yearly cashflow, whether they are balanced in that aspect.
Hence, if they can nego to spread their payments, their cashflow will be much better for FFP
