my fat ps2 got some weird problem...when i play any games, the screen will turn to black n white/colourless after about 15 minutes...the games still run fine though...anyone knows why??
keep googling about this...it seems pretty rare bug/faulty/wutever u wanna call it...
can it be fix??

is there any way to reformat ps2 memory card?

What cable are you using?

i'm using the standard ps2 AV cable...already tried using ps1 cable on the ps2...still same problem...not the cable fault i think...

I'm thinking that the connection on the TV itself is loose..

i dun think so...adjusted several times d...no effect...even tried on another tv...

Hello guys. So the gold/orange ribbon is causing the circular scratch on the cd/dvd. Has any of you got a good solution for that? Plus this wont solve with buying new ribbon, I tried it.

Also, does this problem is solved with PS3?

Anyone bough the PS2 Gun controller ? I am playing Brothers in Arm Road to Hill 30 and find it very difficult to aim. Does the Gun help ? :-)

Make sure you are using CRT, the old type CRT with no 100Hz/progressive/HD only

I know you don't like to hear it but: get a modded one if it's solely for playing PS2 games. Modding gets rid of region lock for PS2 games. If you want to play PS1 games with PS2's enhancement then you'd have to get region specific ones. I haven't seen any PS2 selling locally that is not Japanese/Asia region, so to say no problem playing any PS2 games, but can only play JP/Asia PS1 games
