There is a phone Nexus 4 coming out, my brother currently stay at Australia and plan to ask him buy a couple and bring tax.

Do you think those will be tax if we hand carry go through the airport .. etc ?

Bought computer parts online from US. Used FedEx to ship to Malaysia. Total cost of items is around RM2700+. Now its stuck at customs. Best part is every item is different and in that there is only 1 piece of fan. They end up taxing me for every single item as fan. Total tax need to pay is RM860+ which is crazy. Will have to go KLIA Cargo to appeal on Monday...

Update from a few pages ago: My DVDs arrived intact. Seems that customs just let it through. Everything was in okay condition, nothing got opened by customs.

Haih.. don't know le.. was using normal post and none got taxed.. this. time use FedEx because the rates almost the same as normal post and faster.. kena tax.. guess no more FedEx for me after this.. they help you appeal like never help. Ask them how they tax they can answer don't know. Custom decision is final.. what the hell.. I even emailed them a copy of dispatch note which I purchased 15 pieces of fans and that went through fine.. this.. 1 single piece of fan.. they hold the whole thing and declare as every item as fans.. really... don't know how to describe the feeling...

Hi! Im Planning to ship about 5 - 10 Nexus 4 phone from either United States or Australia. Will the custom detain my items? My friend suggested that i write " Gifts " on the box to avoid it.

And another question, Anyone has any experience like this before? Ship from australia cheaper or the states? >.<

I didn't know they checked your bag once you came bag from overseas. When I came back from USA after I finished my study, I brought back like 4 Nexus S for my friends but I just went thru the "Nothing to Declare" line and my bags were not checked at all.
