from what I see, eth2.0 still got long way to go, at least another 6 to 10 months time if they managed to solve their current issues in time.

even after that, still got plenty of other profitable coins to mine

lots of news outlets are still kinda shallow on crpyto mining, giving gamers big hope that eth2.0 will end the GPU draught doh.gif laugh.gif

if another 6 to 10 months it would make sense to still buy eth asics, jas miner is really good value. goldshell am contemplating whether to sell current KD5 for huge profits and place preorder for a KD6, est arrive in march/ apr.
GPU draught ? it doesnt makes any sense with the roi compared to asics now... As mentioned very early pick your algo right and you will be good to go.

Am planning to all non lhr cards, but now the price is coming down... lol

Btw, Happy New Year to all miners.
May this year be fruitful and profits soars to new ath, be safe, be well and enjoy the ride.

I saw few videos on jasminer by jasminer and jingle mining, until i see the price $9,999 https://www.jinglemining.com/products/jasmi...=42035117064418

Ok perhaps similar to 5 X RTX3080 which also around that price in shopee

But then Jasminer can only mine ETH and ETC, and it's damn loud, that guy needs to put them in special server cabinet

I think RTX3080 has more value.

That's retail bro, can get for a lot more cheaper price direct with them. 5 x 3080 will burns about 1000w vs 500w comparing to x4-1u. if you buy the x4 its 2.5g on 1200w.
even if 4u 10 sets would be 5 gh on 5000w vs 5gh on 10000w. heat is better to manage compared to 3080, say pushing 10gh is so much easier compared to secure that much of 3080 not to mention less problems if you are dealing with that kind of numbers of gpu.

only bloody expensive asics on the market now is Goldshell due to overwhelming demand. kd6 lowest so far is about 39k usd delivering on march/april which if kda drop, unlikely you can recover comparing to ethash still can stake and appreciates to make back if ever went into a bear or winter.

fitting in server rack is the best, buy a container of them and just direct ship to a data center still have quota to host. settle all your problems fyi. ROI is about 4 months+- if we're talking about racks of 48u.
ethash has grown by huge amount which i doubt nvidia + amd can contribute that much also. 2021 jan to now is about 2xx% growth if june is about 100+-%. gpu miners will have tough time catching up at this rate.

Newer ASIC will still remain as the king of efficiency compared to GPU
But each has their pros and cons lah, which has debated to death already...

if it's not damn loud I would have smuggle a few units into my server room tongue.gif

what? data center do accepts ASIC miners? aren't almost most of them requires you to declare the devices you're plugging into their racks and need their approval? hmm.gif

Power hungrier ones harder to get in, efficient ones they can cater depending on space and allocation of energy. They got 2 quota to sell, energy and space. After all, it's just well managed hotels for electronics, they need to be profitable also.

I don't think people would be able to know if you put a 1-u inside an enclosed cabinet. After all it's just 250w. A whole 48u would be a little troublesome as it's a 12kw rack and loud even with earplugs on. Their concern would be their power distribution and backup can support or not, because you one bugger go in jeopardizing the other clients.

I mean buy B2b with them, price of filling up a 20 footer is attractive compared to sample or retail qty.
Still 5 figure rm for 1u and 6+- depending for the X4. way faster ROI

you can get more discount by requesting a quotation from their CS, usually discount is more than 15%, but you don't get the cashback for your next purchase

if the current crypto market is going down trend for another few weeks, we can expect some miners will be off loading their rigs in panic

probably a good time to scoop up a few good deal if you have the spare bullets

unfortunately for me don't have any spare bullets now as I've just expended my rigs not long ago sad.gif

what you want to ask, or you are giving free helium miner away to boost your hnt earnings ? coverage is huge compared to last year. check out the helium miner page in fb would have more insight.
make sure the miner you bought has this AS923-1 frequency, others wont work well. 915mhz to 925mhz will work. setup just google up.

most likely offloading to upgrade, enquiries for used asics just flew over the moon. More people are buying into scrypt, the very old L3+ is ranging from Rm2.5 (instant buyer) to RM4.5k.
they know they dont sell now later gpu price harder to pull up, after cny will have thousands and thousands of new gpu flooding the market from official sources with nearer to msrp.
more people mining with LHR cards now, non lhr price falling like btc now.

unless we're in a bear market, hardly it will be cheaper in this quarter. try 2nd quarter or 3rd, if it still tanks.
Prices currently still stand very strong on btc 50k usd mark, manufacturer pricing still not going down due to cost of materials and all. its already a futures market for mining equipment.

This will be a challenging year as more regulators are onto crypto, Stay Strong, keep mining. icon_rolleyes.gif
