Someone mentioned 3 months to received alienware

Today, we’re taking additional measures by applying a reduced ETH hash rate to newly manufactured GeForce RTX 3080, RTX 3070 and RTX 3060 Ti graphics cards. These cards will start shipping in late May.


Clear Communication to Gamers


Because these GPUs originally launched with a full hash rate, we want to ensure that customers know exactly what they’re getting when they buy GeForce products. To help with this, our GeForce partners are labeling the GeForce RTX 3080, RTX 3070 and RTX 3060 Ti cards with a “Lite Hash Rate,” or “LHR,” identifier. The identifier will be in retail product listings and on the box.

This reduced hash rate only applies to newly manufactured cards with the LHR identifier and not to cards already purchased.

Dell quoted me RM7.5K for Alienware R12 with 3080
IMO it's very good price, but lead time is 2 to 3 months, and it's very likely the 3080 is a castrated LHS version, as OEM like Dell is very likely to get them first.
Guess I'll KIV a new rig for now, get the ROI for existing rig first in next few months then see how

by the time 3090 also price dropped to cheaper than buying from dell <-- its possible.
Looking at now non LHR 3070 retails for about 5k +- compared to previous 6-7k. cost for the retailers maintain pre mco.
There is ample of stock in the market. China started to throw miner cards alrd. eth still at 594.82 th/s about 8% dropped from ath, whereas we see more hashrate going to ccx and zcoin.
