well just the "1hour = 1coin" ady kill the game play (or atleast to me)
last time i used to walk drive around my place before work to get coins lvl3 old gym (3mons) can be solo easily...
but now just 1 mon need around 5 round to take down

as for the maintenance damn!!! today on leave stay home i have to open the app once like every 1 or 2 hours. talk about last time event no life, this lagi no life lol

and if you location full of other team, u pretty much doomed coz a 6 mons gym is close to impossible to solo and if the owner is nearby keep feeding lagi "fun"

Same here......need about 1 hour to take down 6 mons gym.....kinda boring. If got people keep feeding all those 6 mons like 1qaz1qaz says..... Win cant straight away take the coin and have to wait mininum 1 hour for 1 coin......is 1 coin
And some more my place full with blue team......red got 1 or 2 la....yellow.......alamak...today didnt see any yellow gym. I solo bring down 1 blue gym and put a yellow mon.....not even can last for 1 hour

I hate to say it, but of all the ppl working in niantic are there any hardcore players? I seriously wonder who provides them with input and tests the functions.

The beauty of it all is that they pissed off alot of players during gen1 launch with the lagfest among other thing.

And now theyre doing the same in whats supposed to bring back players. Lagfest 2.0 + added bonus of pissing off existing players.

I dont mind if hard battle.....at least like old style....give 10 coins after sitting in the gym, like this will be fun. Battle so hard no even can get 1 coin like what i did with my yellow team. 1 hour kicking all 6 mons.....less than 30 min.....kicked out and no coin earn.

I think most of you have know this before but I'm still going to rant anyway.

I just did my first gym battle under the new gym system. I went solo and attack the gym with 6 mons. They were not very powerful one. Highest one CP2k+ dragonite should be easy right? So I fight, wow need so many rounds to lower the CP. Never mind, soon after 4 rounds left 4 mons and the CP also almost 0 I smile already. Then suddenly all the CP full again plus a new 3k CP Snorlax some more! Some bugger went to feed them all and put his mon inside while I was halfway through! WTF la.... WTF I gave up!

For all it's worth, I think the new gym system makes it fair for newcomers to put their mon inside. Otherwise if still the old style, newcomer will never get the chance to conquer gym. But it is too unfair for player to be able to feed the mon halfway through a battle. At least disable the feeding during a gym attack.

Very simple explanation. The ppl working there themselves are spoofers, hence this new system to easily enable them to spoof back into gym to keep feeding.
As u can see. Spoofer easily dominating the gyms now, while the genuine players gave up, including yours truly 😡

I think its added together cos i dont recall exceeding 7hours.

So spoofers are still running wild even with the new update???

These spoofers really tak da malu ar. Usually the gyms in my area all 3k over Pokémon even blissey 3k. But after update I see all Pokémon in the gym only 2.5k and the player is like level 36-39. Stupid spoofers still dare to show themselves.

I am still a bit confused on how the coins are awarded. This morning, I got the standard 1 coin per hour. However, I was awarded 45 coins when my Blissey got kicked out a while ago after 7 hours+

what niantic did right
1. access bag to give revive and potions at the gym screen
2. shows pokemon health at the gym remotely (even though not as easy as simply choosing the defending pokemon from the pokemon bag)
3. placing pokestops in gym as well
4. maps of gym we're holding (but poor res map?)
5. Encourage team play when you can give berries to fellow team Pokémon

what niantic did wrong
1. can't see where pokemon is defending by just selecting the defending pokemon from the pokemon bag)
2. too easy to put all 6 pokemon at the gym (?)
3. quite easy to defeat pokemon at gym now but have too many rounds (1 pokemon at the gym took like 5 rounds to defeat)
4. berry feeding during attack is unfair
5. bug "cant put pokemon coz gym under attack" when it's not.
6. Stardust gain too little (20 stardust per berries)
7. Gym took longer to load
