Just tested my car.

Light switch in "Off" position
The interior light will always be off rolleyes.gif

Light switch in "Middle" position
1. The interior light comes on when the door opens
2. When you shut the door, the interior light slightly dims
3. The interior light shuts off in 13-15 seconds after all doors are closed
4. When you open the door, the interior light will immediately turn on
5. When you close and lock the door without the engine running, the interior light will immediately shut off
6. When the door unlocks, the interior light will immediately turn on

Light switch in "On" position
1. The interior light will always be on
2. When you lock the car without the engine running, the interior light will shut off in 3 seconds
*
briefly tested mine when the switch in middle position and the result same as yours

lights dim when shut the door(after engine off) and light off after door locked.

but why is that not normal lol?

I have been searching for a durable wax or coating to protect my lunar silver. Been using Meguair's wax but I don't find it lasting enough. After some readings looks like Soft 99 Fusso coat is quite good. Have been seeing the online prices ranging from RM55 to RM150. Worry the cheaper ones are imitation. Where you guys buy and how much? Are you guys using the Fusso light for your lunar silvers?

Using ultimate liquid wax, quik wax, detailer...
roughly 1-2 weeks for detailer, 2-3 weeks quick wax, 3-4 weeks liquid wax and depending on weather.

I just checked the middle interior roof light of my civic and observed similar issue with yours, where the light never goes off when door been shut off (switch to middle)......can't wait to feedback this to SA on 1K service. Not really have time yet to explore everything, what else important that we should look first?

Check your spare tire area for water too. Just in case. A rusted chassis is the worst thing can happen to car owners.
Try setting the middle interior light switch in the middle and drive.. if it stills not going off.. then theres something wrong.

I don't use to wash, or wax car previously but with the new car have to. As comparison, once my car is coated with wax, after rain (day or night when car not in use), the droplets just take longer time to dry than a non-waxed car and as a result more dust are collected and thus more dirty. If the car is the on the go, then the water/dirt will bead away.

Speaking about waxing and detailing. With your vast experience, any good recommendation on car shampoo or solution that works well with wax ? I'm planning to apply fusso coating on to my car.

Nice. Like how obsessed you are with car exterior cleanliness. Are you getting those online or from stores? Any place you know that offers a good deal? Also, what do you think about maguier car wax and shampoo, heard they're good as well, tried it before ? smile.gif

I face similar issue, but wasn't sure was it from A-pillar or from dashboard.
