Mostly on slow cornering or uneven roads. Difficult to predict when, suka suka it comes.

QUOTE(CPURanger @ Jun 19 2017, 10:28 PM) Yesterday, I have test drive Civic 1.5 TP and Mazda 3. I am very impress with Civic. I think it is better car compare to Mazda 3 overall for now. The Mazda 3, I tested have no G vectoring, so may not be total fair comparison. May retest Mazda 3 later. I wonder how good is the Civic handling ? Anyone drive up to Genting via Hulu Yam route or any hilly roads ? Short distance test drive, can't tell everything. Like to know before making any booking. Drove to Bukit Tinggi and Genting before. The 1.5's power and handling are excellent. You barely need to high-rev the car. But I still prefer a manual gear going downhill, or maybe use S mode.

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jun 19 2017, 11:16 PM) I think its how CVT behaves, not the turbo lag Right, accelerate from standstill is a joke unless you tekan more which makes more noise than usual cars. Even an Axia auto can accelerate from 0 much faster.

QUOTE(DM3 @ Jun 21 2017, 05:50 PM) Tekan more la, ur civic maybe sluggish then Civic 1.5 needs more effort to reach 20/30kmh than an Axia but once there, Civic will zoommm ahead.

QUOTE(joejee @ Jun 26 2017, 10:05 AM) Musty or damp smell coming out from the air-cond vent. Anyone experienced it before? Need advice. Yes I got the same issue since few months ago. Let it run for few minutes and the smell went away. Another car restart, same smell. Anyone know how to fix this? I have opted for the evaporator cleaning RM125 during the 20k service but it seems the smell is still there. This post has been edited by Clicko220: Jun 29 2017, 03:06 PM

isr25, I saw somewhere in the post you can manually reset the oil life indicator? How do you do that? I thought only SC can do it. hehe

QUOTE(isr25 @ Jun 29 2017, 05:13 PM) 1. Press Start Button 2X - or while car is turned on & Gear at P 2. Look at HU. Press Home 3. Choose Settings 4. Choose Vehicle 5. Choose Maintenance Info 6. Press on Reset Don't reset coz your oil life is 0 - you will still void your warranty should anything happen... Go to your SC to do oil change as their system is computerised and linked. ok tks for the info, just for my reference only.

My 1.5TC insurance is due end of this month and I have received renewal notice from Honda. Do you guys continue buying from Honda or look elsewhere for better deal? Considering 1 July starts the motor insurance liberalization. What will be the estimated sum insured for 1.5TC?

I have been searching for a durable wax or coating to protect my lunar silver. Been using Meguair's wax but I don't find it lasting enough. After some readings looks like Soft 99 Fusso coat is quite good. Have been seeing the online prices ranging from RM55 to RM150. Worry the cheaper ones are imitation. Where you guys buy and how much? Are you guys using the Fusso light for your lunar silvers?

QUOTE(argronzoyuan @ Jul 4 2017, 11:18 AM) May I know meguair roughly last how long ? I did consider about meguair also.... Using ultimate liquid wax, quik wax, detailer... roughly 1-2 weeks for detailer, 2-3 weeks quick wax, 3-4 weeks liquid wax and depending on weather.

QUOTE(DM3 @ Jul 4 2017, 02:44 PM) Ive been using soft 99;fusso,kiwami, meguiar swirl x,gold class etc, so far hardly let it gone thru more than 2 weeks without weekly coatings/waxing for past 6 mths and just love the beadings and even when rinsing with water still slippery feel I don't use to wash, or wax car previously but with the new car have to. As comparison, once my car is coated with wax, after rain (day or night when car not in use), the droplets just take longer time to dry than a non-waxed car and as a result more dust are collected and thus more dirty. If the car is the on the go, then the water/dirt will bead away.

I will be sending my car for check-up and hopefully to fix following problems. 1. Loud grinding noise during engine startup. 2. tick tick tick sound on uneven road, getting very frequent now.
Have you guys fixed these issues before? Any experience with SC, please let me know.
