I just went there lookig for WiC only. Didn't ask for Quake Wars, but apparently most of the title there was selling Rm79.90. SADLY, The staff don't even know what is WiC, no idea the release date, claimed that it might be sold out. Worst still he ask me to check pcgame.com = =. The brochure there doesn't even have WiC box on it = =" Guess i'll just have to wait for official release @_@

Overall,for me,CoH still has the best animation and sound.

Playing WiC is like playing CoH without a subwolfer.

I called the organiser its this comming weekend.

I can confirm it WILL be coming out later this week if not next week at most. However theres already various stores in the US that already selling it before us, lame.

It's the virtualization.. because of the virtualization you need to use large speakers otherwise you won't be able to hear the background sound. On my 50mm neodymium headphones the sound is great, but I can barely hear the sound effects on my small Rm10 ones

Hmmm i haven't heard this game being released in europe yet...and the listing in pcgame.com.my has no price listing and its not even in the main page as coming soon...I confirm I'm going to get this game...

EDIT : just checked out the WiC website and it said release Sept 18...THATS TODAY!!!I suppose it releases in Europe today...Thats would probably mean next week earliest for us???but i'm worried pcgame.com.my has not listed the price yet for a title that is going to be released SOON!... ...i can't pre order!!!noooooo

I did zoom in and i can heard the soldiers talk and gossip around but the explosion sounds quite bad.The awesome feel from the explosion is just not there.

Im using a 2.1 system.The same system sounds great with any other game but WiC.

I think i need to change some setting.

Actually its going to be officially released tomorrow, US and Canada timezone today is still the Sept 17th. Europe release date is the 20th, the earliest we can get is later this week. However as I said earlier there are plenty of shops over there that have ALREADY broke the street date with selling the retail copies.

You could sue them with "False Advertising" and "Intention to trick or cheat".

My conclusion is that it could either be:

a) The people who made this brochure screw up
b) As stated they deliberately do it to "hype" the event
c) They screw up BIG time

Either way works.

Same day releases for games that aren't published by EA are not going to happen that is unless they import it straight from US. Seeing that the local distributor for WIC is New Era you may want to contact them and find out the local street date.

Definitely agreed. Even the demo is incredible. Story is predictable though, but the characters actually have character

Wow the Gamespot review is out already eh!Well we all knew that this game was gonna be rated high...so no surprise there...I think Massive deserved this as they have been working on this engine forever...even if Ground Control did not recieve the 'sales' it deserves, i hope this can really make WiC a top seller...been a long time coming for them...
