Are you sure about that? The maps a lot bigger than the ones in COH and alot of the previews keep saying that the level of detail extraordinary especially when zoomed in. That and the fact you can turn the entire map into an ash tray and this is just the DX9 version.

Another cool feature is that Massive has licensed 80's music for the game so you'll hear hit songs like 'Everybody Wants to Rule the World' in the game.

I dont think this game will play like C&C3 in my experience with GC2.It will be another completely game thats emphasize on offensive.

Loved GC2 so much.

GC was one of the best games i have ever played and i hope this will live up to my expectations.

This game will feature a completely new game play,if not,something close to CoH,not C&C3.

Note that this game have no base so expect to be really offensive and lots of fighting.

I loved GC2 but i went ballistic when i patched my game and found out that the patches didn't allow me to load my saved games... All that campaign progress... GONE!

I want an ori copy of GC2.This game rocks.
Ground Control.The creators of World in Conflict used to make he GC games before this.

The missions are not that hard le.

Massive is also including fps game mechanics like respawning and insta joining games in progress(which is new to rts games) to bring in the fps crowd.

But i 'boh song' the patch. Pffttt....i'd get an ori copy if  i could find one. All i have so far is the *ahem* version.

I've been playing the beta since Wednesday, really lucky to get it from sweepstakes held on CVG site.

Too bad I can't talk about the game, NDA.

Don't worry this will be the 1st place I post of any details of an open/public beta if I hear of it. To tell you the truth I never expected to get into the closed beta also, it was a fluke.

BTW, anyone managed to get it from Gamespot?

I love the closed beta. But it's gonna end this 19th. Sad TT. I've preordered my copy.

It's really a mix of CoH and BF2. Except you don't build bases, and you get pwned easily when your team don't work together. This game hard to solo, because what ever class you choose, you have more weaknesses than advantages.

I'm running silky smooth in the beta now. The graphic looks speechless. VOIP is always available and frequently used. It's really good.

I can't put screens due to some thingy. But there is a 1st Singapore Division clan in the game.
