QUOTE(frags @ Jul 17 2007, 12:20 AM) Hey i cant add u...how come ah??? I did see you once in the closed beta...LOL Yup already seen that.... need at least 8800GTS to run DX10 version as my own predict.... My Name is NoobConflict...BTW did you guys see the E3 demo? Its showed the graphical effects in DX10. Craters can be formed. The game has volumetric lighting where the suns rays filter from the clouds(looks very cool). The smoke is also very relistic...it moves realistically when a chopper passes by. |

QUOTE(H@H@ @ Aug 27 2007, 07:43 PM) Just because it may not be available locally, doesn't mean you can just say "Ok, time to go pirated!". Well, you can... but not here. Thanks to Bolehland not very keen anti piracy issue. I willing to buy ori via online outside Malaysia, but wut i'm have worried bout 42% duty or tax for media bring in outside. They should at least lowered or refrain from duty for media product. You thinking about the Valve and VUG issue? That's different altogether. Sierra is pretty much VUG. Its only during a few years ago, did they start using the VUG name in certain games depending on marketing. Sierra is a more recognizable gaming name compared to one that is associated with a media conglomerate. And remember, this is a somewhat quasi-sequel to Ground Control which was a very prominent Sierra IP when it came out, so it makes sense to use it instead of VUG for marketing. |

QUOTE(Games For Windows @ Oct 2 2007, 09:19 PM) I am able to play this game will everything maxed-out with 2x FSAA, BUT with no Vsync and Frame cap limit. Running at 1280x1024 on my 7800 GTX (DX9) and 3.2Ghz dual-core. Even so, during huge battles, the frame-rate goes to 4 to 5 fps. I thought dual-core should at least do some justice. I really need that 8800 GTS. The particle effect & flying particle uses a lot CPU power, If the CPU weak u getting better GC still the same, bottleneck. This game's performance reminds me of Command and Conquer: Generals (the countless tweaks, the ridiculous slow-downs and 'only Alienware can handle thing') last time... |
