Btw I think you meant Azure Rathalos but there really is a Silver Los just not in MHW (as yet?). Silver Los body parts is rock solid where the usual Los is weak

Correct me if I'm wrong. I pick up a Flashbug and put it in my pocket. As and when I want to throw that little sucker out, I select it via D-pad, press square button and there goes the flash? Bird is down, whack, whack and whack?

Pressing Square will only equip the flash pod. You still have to aim L2 and shoot it with R2

To be more efficient you can set Flash Pod to Auto-craft in crafting list and also set it as a shortcut on your radial menu

Flash Pod is item that u can equip like Capture Net, Fishing Rod or Pod (Slinger Pod, Redpit etc.).
Just fire the flash pod out like u fire slinger or redpit.
Check on ur crafting list under support, Flash Pod is one of the earlier stage item

Great Hunt Solo is a quest name?
I finished all the story quest in solo mode, now just joining random tempered monster hunt.
Yea i play old MHW, but not sure will Silver Rathalos put to MHW since they already got 1 sub species here. And i use bow on solid monster, so harden problem solved.
But the fun part on the Arena is not becoz how strong the monster, is becoz of the mess of two tempered sub-species flying around and spamming fireball in the tiny arena xD

No, the 2 tempered pink Rathian and azure rathalos in arena u mentioned is a 9-Star optional quest.

The name is “New World Sky, New World Flower” (armory given quest after u fight 7 different tempered tier2 monsters)

I meant fighting it in solo mode was challenging and exciting. I wasn’t using ranged weapon so I don’t know how different the feeling would be.

Yeah....About the Capture Net. I tried twice approaching the kitten. I press square and something happen. Then I press L2 and R2. The net sprung out like one metre. The damn kitten ran away! I aimed the targeting reticle at the kitten but the net is like disappointing. I was hoping for like a spidey-web action. Boy, oh, boy I was wrong.

The radial menu...is another thing. I thought tutorials are rubbish.

Tempered Kirin is easier when properly equipped, and with range attacks

Tempered Nergi is another story
Last night managed to get it limping back to it's lair, I shoot some dragon pod at it to aggro it back
it rushed at me, me managed rolled aside to avoid, but still mission failed
my 3 other team mate was directly behind me, busy sharpening when they saw Nergi limping away

I can't stress it enough, Nergi is the most dangerous in his narrow lair, IMO 8 x Megabombs is not worth it if you keep dying in his lair

likewise with Kushala, don't let it back to its lair, you don't have much space to evade his winds

After a while, you will see tempered nerg as an upgraded version of great jagras, no gimmick, and that is why I like nerg. The one that I can't seem to grasp is tempered teostra in multiplayer.

Hi guys, just out of curiousity. For whatever reason or under what circumstance that the monster will leave the locale? I whacked Legiana for about 20 minutes and she flew away. After a minute of so, there's a message promting something about "Legiana has left the locale."

I once fought a Barroth, the muddy monster and the same message appeared. However, when I was near the area where he "disappear", he appeared out from the muddy water and I was like WTF. I thought I lost him since he left the locale already.

there's a time limit on how long a monster will stay in a map during expedition, but not sure about actual limit tho, I think should be around 30mins
it's to prevent you cheesing the stronger monster to death

That Barroth is not the same Barroth you fought earlier, it will have full health

investigation is the best way to farm for parts if that's what you're looking for

I'm not too sure about it. Anyway, it's more for skill testing or maybe testing certain things out since I'm new in the Monster Hunter series.
