How if i'm using a single card with gtx 970 temps around 77 something after setting new fancurve using MSI Afterburner .. is it worth it? Im using nicehash anyway am i doing good? .. if so i'm not doing good , what mobo would support 2/3 gpu at one time? And what risk should i aware of other than electric bills?

I heard using AMD gpus are better? rx580 or rx480

This mean Buying Antminer is more worth than spending 20k for 6 gpus with our custom build mining setup? On top of it , Antminer only mine Btc ? Not like us la.. mining using nicehash then get payout need to convert to btc?
*
Yes. Antminers (built by Bitmain) only mine bitcoins, nothing else.

Whether it is more worth it than custom-built rigs is subject to debate. smile.gif

RX series is better to mine for ethereum as it was a cheaper card before the spike.
To check for the mobo support, you can refer to this link here :
http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/motherboa...thereum-mining/

you'll need to get a 16x riser for the additional card.

Make sure your PSU is good enough to handle that wattage.

Poloniex is the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world, don't worry, definitely not a scam.
Withdrawals are instantaneous, however, how long it takes to be credited into your recipient address depends on how fast your transaction is confirmed by the nodes.

usually for any asset class. if there's a crisis, ppl will chop their profitable position to fund their emergency usage.
so if economy crisis ppl will dump their coins for cash also wan.
u can't hold if you're losing your house.

I think until mainstream media everyday report crypto currency then the bubble will be almost burst d. right now not yet. this year only exponential move start to come.
plus margin trade exchanges all start to explode in volume.

all the crazy swings upward and downward is funded by margin ya.

wow u are part of the dogecoin mania. LOL

Here's a very cool interview of TenX by a former doctor! Damn, we're in the right business if he can just ditch all that effort in med school to enter crypto.

He needs to learn what's diversification and hedging.

Selling all Ether is a bad investment decision.

Only do that if Vitalik and the entire team decides to shift to Bitcoin.

USDT is also an altcoin, remember?
If all hell breaks loose, I don't think USDT will be spared either.

However, the lazy and naive investor in me still has faith in cryptocurrencies in general.
I think that no matter how bloody it gets, it will still reverse and recover.
Might take a bit of time but it will recover.

For those who have recently purchased a 2-year Ethereum mining contract with Genesis, do not worry.

Genesis has the largest Ethereum mining facility in the world.

No wonder there is a world-wide shortage of AMD and Nvidia GPUs. biggrin.gif

Seriously, this is from an article written about a year ago.

Look under the heading "Genesis Mining In Iceland".

I like the business model and also the sustainability of PAY token if it is successful. If, and only if, there is a huge amount of transaction through TenX, the 0.5% return will make PAY tokens be in demand and cause the price to rise further.

25 ETH for a TenX Limited Edition card is quite tempting but only limited to 1,000 cards??!!!?? I think it will be snapped up in the first few hours......

Yeah, but USDT rises when bitcoin crashes, mainly because investors, besides cashing out to fiat, has no where to run but USDT.

I will probably just convert a bit to USDT as reserve and ride out the storm.
