Looks ok with open source and support a lot of CCs. Haven't used it before but the rule of thumb is never keep lots of money in any exchange/e-wallet for too long. The majority of your money should stay in your hard wallet.

Hi guys. Anywhere I can buy Hardware wallet in Kuala Lumpur?

As far as I know, there are no physical stores or outlets selling hardware wallets in Malaysia.
You need to buy them either directly from the Tezor or Ledger official website, and have them couriered to Malaysia, or otherwise buy from official resellers in Singapore like Coinzin and Pennywise.
The waiting time for a new Ledger Nano S is incredible these days.
You probably wouldn't be able to getone till September or October.

Paper wallet is fine if you keep it safely locked in your home drawer like you would to a gold bar. I'm using this temporarily until I get a hard wallet.

Although, paper wallet is not suitable for you if you plan to move the coins here and there every now and then.

Hardware wallet aren't a magic bullet, getting one does not guarantee any added security if users themselves not practicing proper due diligence. Most, if not all of the security breach happen because of users. Human is the weakest link.

Phishing incident that happened yesterday are targetting myetherwallet site; they're cloning the site down to every byte and just changing a few lines of code to steal the private key, it looks exactly the same as the legit myetherwallet except for the tld. Anyone fooled by just the look of the site will have their private key stolen and their funds drained.

So people, be diligent, be safe.

Yes, it's definitely not cheap to ship.
But sometimes you might be able to get slightly more reasonable shipping fees, like EUR20 or so.
Alternatively, try the Singaporean resellers, they order in bulk, so the shipping fees are substantially cheaper.

I think of it this way, cryptocurrency is here to stay for a long long time, with blockchain possibly being a paradigm shift of the global socio-economics. An initial investment to make a head start in this revolution seems small compared to this scale.

Blockchain technology is not a 'trend', a 'fad' or a 'buzzword'. It will become part of our lives, and our children's lives.

You can buy it from Coinzin. I think it is from Singapore, but do shiping to quite a few countries. They are the agent for Ledger Nano S. If you buy from Official site or this Coinzin, the delivery time is the same. smile.gif

And as sifu WooTz said earlier, once your stash reach a certain amount, you should even split your stash into more than one hardware wallet.

Do they have physical shop in Singapore? I might get my relative's help since he returns to Malaysia every fortnight or so.
