Below here are my farm which size are operated 6 month ago.

For information.... we had manage to build a farm which are only 7 feet wide x 7 feet height and 14 feet long....Success and 6 month collect 59 nest.So for those who are new here...this is the smallest size you can go.
Lowest you can go 7 feet....but if can 8 feet...then go for it.

A silly question of mine.
Asuming used a correct bird crips, during bird test, will grass swiftlet+ house swiftlet come together or only house swift will appear ?

Technically the sound will attract 3 types swiftlets. AF, Sriti and red belly. Sriti population is low in Malaysia and red belly only exist in plantation areas. Judge them by colour, size and flying styles lah. Sriti also known as grass swift, house swift, common swift.

I think AF not likely will appear for a place that is totally alien of AF farming. I still remember a post said farming in the farming center has more chances to success , i think this is very much valid.

what is the regulation on all these swiftlet farming in residential area? I was taken aback when I found out one of the top floor of a shopping lot converted to Swiftlet farming with the speaker blasting and the tuition center on the lower floor next to it. Mind you this is not even a low density commercial area. More development coming too!

which area u pointing ? From what I know the regulation is different from state to state as the Federal gov yet to come out a policy of swiftlet farming.

One question, we know that the bird house must be at least 4x4m to let the bird fly and turn in site the house, but must the bird need to turn inside the bird house ? izzit they prefer more if they can turn in the house just like how we prefer if we can turn our butt in toilet
