There are thousands like you who attended seminars buy hundred of books n surt the net. If all do think that they can have a successful farm after doing the same like you then the failed rate won't be 90% right.

The problem are all think like you. It is not as easy as you think.
Sorry to say that.
*
With all the knowledge and books from all the experts will get you no way if you do not have the followings

1. Luck
2. Love of Swiftlets
3. Feeling for Swiftlets

Remember that this is God's Gift to you. You need not feed them and they came and they go as they like. Your bird house is just like a rest house (Swiftlet Hotel) and they stay and pay you well in white gold. They deserve the best in service, protection and care.

I built a swiftlet house six years ago and sold it last year for 1.7 M. and I regret it ever since. Although, they said that I get peanut for 4000 nest in the shop lot considering Rm600 per nest; I should be getting Rm1M for the shop and the sky Rm2.4M = Rm3.4M and maybe less 20%, the amount should not less than 2.5M. My regret is that the new owner throw away eggs to get fast money and better price (white nest) ......it hurts my heart to see my birds suffer.
I even offer to buy back for Rm2.5M but the new owner want Rm3.5M which I hardly can afford.

Thank God, that I get to buy a new shop right opposite the building sold and now, less than one year, I have over 800 nest...............hoping that some are my birds lost long ago. After sometime with these swiftlets, they are like your babies..................you don't hurt the hand that feed.

goto www.google.com.my, then type hygrometer and then choose "pages from malaysia".

Apparently, ebay.com.my got sell and i found some KL company also got sell.
Another way is... use yellow pages
hope this will help.
*
I sold some of these hydrometers to my friends for Rm40 a piece and I still have a dozen. Interested, can get it from me only if you can't find them in the market at similiar price. I am not a merchant but a friendly fellow birdman, caring for other birdman in need.

Most willing to help
I remain

Technically the sound will attract 3 types swiftlets. AF, Sriti and red belly. Sriti population is low in Malaysia and red belly only exist in plantation areas. Judge them by colour, size and flying styles lah. Sriti also known as grass swift, house swift, common swift.
*
Sriti might be attracted to Sriti sound but definitely is not attracted to AF sound!!

Pardon me again,
If it is after rain, the birds will fly low and fast as they are catching flying termites and they are plentiful. Here, we have a case of high flying birds and not in any pattern that I have seen. I am no consultant but a successful bird house owner.

So, C Foo out there, what's say U?

West Wing, cool to know that you are a succesful bird house owner....You are much more than a consultant...A successful bird house owner is much more motivated and understandable what a swiftlet is.....
By the way, you are right this time....what you say are absolutely right.... but i'm not sure why you see this pic as a case the birds are flying higH?? they are flying low.....not more than a 4storey building high.....
Its a pattern that you have seen i think..smile.gif
WHere are you from west wing?
