Actually I don't really mind if phone is global set, regardless being shipped from Afghanistan, North Korea or Canada as OP5 is already a world phone which supports all LTE bands.
Just dont get China set this round.
Anyhow any ways to check is it China or non-China set?

it was suppose to be a global version for all

i went to the shop that start selling AP set of OP5, then asked if the one they selling is global version or china version, they answered china version

china version come with hydrogen OS out of box, and i tested with webe sim card, it does not detect webe's 4G line

so better check properly, sometime kedai flash OOS to replace H2O

edit: most phone of china version does not detect webe 4G line, compared to global version of the phone, plus china version does not have many bands supported

and also look for variant number
A5000, A5003 and A5005

The problem is you need to root and install oxygen which is quite troublesome in my opinion despite I know how to do it.

still a bit slower loading intensive stuff but at least faster than galaxy. the only gripe is, why did oneplus skimp on ois. it's as if they tested 4k recording and see the judder and then say "it's good enough, people will buy the gimbal anyway"

possible size/physical/skill limitation .....
they ain't as big as other company, even they under OPPO roof but doesn't means they have OPPO type of resources and capability ....
