Tongsan choose xiamen here is to increase influence.. and sepang. Was choosen coz bigger piece of land and nearer to klia and klia 2 for easy landing/ going of students from china

pretty big university...built in the middle of nowhere, besides elite highway. But the surrounding area is developing though...and the area seems to looks like pretty hot...not because of amoi, but no shades due to very few trees

xia da is a upper-tier uni in China.

but the main reason is not academics.. it's that xia da as a honeymoon campus is pretty attractive.

in china, this uni is considered 'Project 985' university, which is first tier university in china

graduating from 'Project 985' and 'Project 211' university you will have much much higher priority for being selected to interview, as a fresh grad

and 'Projct 985' and 'project 211' means they receive sufficient fund from government for researches, so as a post grad student, you can work on pretty interesting projects with top tier equipment.

as for malaysia campus, i've never been there, i have no idea.

I went to Zhe Jiang university, which is also a 'Project 211' university, to visit a friend doing PhD there, his office is spectacular, his lab is well equipped, and he got over a million funding for his research, not to mention is allowances are all free from tax up to 2 million yuan a year, basically he paid 0 tax and i'm paying close to 40% in australia doing the same thing

xiamen zhejiang shanghai jiaotong = universita 21 kind of level in UK, eg manchester, nottingham, and other first tier uni but not in world top 10 or world top 20 chart
