QUOTE(moosset @ Dec 27 2019, 03:33 AM) I also exited my silver SLV too early. by the way, HKSE's 2800 tracker fund and 2833 HSI are the same right? I mean, buy whichever doesn't matter, right? Same HSI index, just different fund managers. Both are OK. Personally, I prefer HSCEI than HSI though.

QUOTE(Moneylust @ Dec 26 2019, 09:09 PM) ETFs of gold and silver miners. Anyway, I already exited when gold/silver rallied on Dec 23 - put the $ into several ETFs covering AI, robotics, 5G etc. I normally wouldn't regard gold n silver miners as "defensive". š But I'm suprised that gold is still strong now.

What's the difference between NASDAQ-100 Index and S&P Technology Select Sector Index? for example, QQQ vs XLK. Companies like Amazon and Facebook are in Nasdaq100 but not in S&P Tech select? How come? QUOTE(Cubalagi @ Dec 27 2019, 11:26 AM) Same HSI index, just different fund managers. Both are OK. Personally, I prefer HSCEI than HSI though. thanks!

Companies like Amazon and Facebook are in Nasdaq100 but not in S&P Tech select? How come? thanks! QQQ is the largest 100 companies on nasdaq regardless of industry sector. Im not familiar with XLK, but I guess Amazon n Facebook are probably under Consumer Discretionary sector (Amazon) and media/communications sector (Facebook) rather than technology.

I googled and someone on Quora said, they are tech companies. I guess they are not then.

Hi all, is anyone familiar with the software āAlgoboxā introduced by Grandpine Capital? Iāve been watching Alfred Chenās videos and find the software to be very useful for stock screening / analysis, but apparently it costs 5k (plus support platform which I still think is quite expensive given my ikan bilis capital).
Is there any free software out there that provided similar functions? Iām using Rakuten Trade but what they have doesnāt seem that good compared to Algobox.
Thanks in advance!

I don't know how much is the brokerage for maybank nominee but if you want to, you can open an account with another IB and transfer the shares there. CDS Transfer fee is RM10.

If the PH can't fix the economy by this year, they won't last past 2023. And the stock market is a reflection of the economy. This post has been edited by Cubalagi: Jan 1 2020, 11:57 PM
