LOL yeah man.. im not fancy about 5G, but would like to see how much impacts on battery life.. if is really battery drain stuffs, i rather drop to 4G in settings and ignore 5G.. cause ultimately when voice call, it is auto go to 4G due to VoLTE.. unless voice call also can stay for VoLTE..

true.. i have read quite a lot of sharings from singapore, taiwan, china and US forum as well.. most people reported that 5G is battery drain and the penetration of signal is not good enough and cause low signal.. so phone tend to be warm/hot..

and myself is using Celcom XPAX lite M because im work from home all the time.. i just need a stable and average speed to receive msg/surfing during outdoor.. the rests of my time will be conencted to WIFI most of the time.. so 5G is not necessary to me.. just curious about how big difference in term battery drain between 5G and 4G..

Im going to have low data quota and even 8GB i never finish it.. haha so plan to do a quick test if it came to me.. but unfortunately XPAX LITE M no going to get that.. only XPAX 40 will get that.. thinking whether should i give anotehr RM2 for celcom..

I asked their CS, told me the same thing. Hopefully iphone users still get to join the free trial by the time it's activated.

Their CS not consistent .. I called and she told me it's activated automatically and as long as you have a 5G enabled phone, you will be able to use 5G. She asked me to check with Samsung if my Fold 4 is 5G activated. I said yes coz I have YES 5G on my phone.

She asked me to try to shut down and turn on my phone again ... done that but still no 5G and I am in KLCC area, which has 5G.

We can opt-out of this right? Better stick to 4G if 5G coverage is not good..

Even 4G is bad despite having wider coverage

We need a telco that give FREE 5G to have FREE 5G for all telco. cool2.gif
Most probably we will get it for FREE. Telco likes to test water, put the price but don't dare to charge because anyone can just switch to whatever telco that give FREE. tongue.gif

I'm currently using Celcom Postpaid Gold RM80 monthly

1. Is there any benefit upgrading to Celcom MEGA 80 Lightning?

2. Does Celcom MEGA 80 Lightning allow hostpot and how much quota? the website did not mentioned this but only for the Unlimited one

5G is great for unlimited data..if use any plan with allocated data..it can be matter of seconds for the data to be deplete..

And have to buy more data..

Then there is issues that to use the 5G need additional fee..RM10..just like the old days when use BlackBerry..
