I feel like @Celcom treating long-time customers like dirt.
They are using this VoLTE and 3G switch off as precursor to force their customers to move to much more expensive plan.
Unacceptable.

THIS is throught twitter chat, as advised by others in here.
was asking for my mother's. I don't have access to the phone, but it should be a samsung.
the plan is either legacy Blue 45 or legacy Blue 48.
Now I know why my wife's Samsung S10+ also don't have LTE.option altogether. Because she is also on Blue 48.
I REALLY want to yell "f*u".

not under my id.
i'll give them some time until 3G switched off. If they really want to force it dirty, make decision then.
Now I wonder if other MVNO under Celcom can have it enabled without much fuss regardless of plans.
F*
VoLTE dependent on subscribed plan. Truly world's first.

As mentioned in the twitter chat above, Celcom wants you android postpaid users to be in MEGA then only will enable VoLTE.
That a bump from RM45/RM48 to minimum RM80.
And remember. Unlike other operators who already included SMS, all of Celcom's newer charges 20Β’/sms.
I already ported away from Celcom. Not even a prepaid with them any longer. Now just want to enable VoLTE for mum and wife.
The CS staff that attended you seems to have no idea what he/she is talking about, this is why I hate this kind of staff, have no idea but then treat customer as if customer is clueless, what a waste of salary tbh.
I think you can try calling 1111 for their CS, sometimes its easier to interact by talking instead of typing. From my experience, I got fed up with their Twitter CS (some here were lucky cuz attended by different staff), so I called them instead and got it enabled for my Xpax Lite M postpaid plan, if they weren't willing to enable it for me, I would've probably either resort to MCMC or just port out.
At first they might say it's only available for Mega postpaid plan, but you should insist that you know others that got their VoLTE enabled and they're not even using Mega plan.
It's better not to show curiosity like asking which plan is entitled for VoLTE etc., because we as consumers know that VoLTE is not something exclusive and should've been enabled for everyone regardless of the plan.
Basically Celcom is trying to lure as much people as they can to hop on the Mega plan for VoLTE before deadline, pretty cheapskate and dirty trick I would say, no one should fall for that.
