YES telco never allow MNP-o since day 1...I've won this case against YES thru MCMC... managed to port out after MCMC involvement...

Wow, thats bad. Why would they stop anyone from porting out? If they really want to retain the customer, they should put some effort to introduce special plans like some other telcos did to retain their customer.
Isn't it all telco must let its users MNP if they wish to? It should be our basic consumer rights kan?

It's just their Sales "tricks" to ensure we stay in their service. So, they tried to play hard on me. Too bad, they've got the wrong "rakyat" to use the trick... So, Law & Order in placed... You may read their MNP Rules under Postpaid Terms & Conditions (Section 4)...

Me's own number... It was MNP from Celcom to YES.... after the YES promo ended, me wanted to MNP-o but the YES counter (yeah...me went to their HQ at One Oriental Place Tower) but the counter said cannot MNP-o becoz she "claimed" their system does not support MNP at all...

There you go... MCMC in on my radar edy...

Finally, after 3 weeks, MCMC ordered YES to release me's number after all...Me think that counter girl must has been sacked edy...

Me think it's not YES... it's the front-liner counter service people... one staff screw, the whole YES telco got bad name... That's why company needs to take good care of their staff... if company screwed their staff, of course lah revenge will happen...

I don't think the counter girl will kena sack, instead will get promoted lagi. Because she followed the "SOP" and didn't kneel down to customer's request.
