I thought it is the other way round, i.e., we should be thanking TP-Link Malaysia for their support.

Or is this not a support thread?

No mention of TP-Link Malaysia providing support to its customers here anywhere.

Hi, you may try Stateless.

Sometime when choosing DHCPv6 during the first time.
It won't connect.

Set to Stateless then restart and then set to DHCPv6 and again restart.
Try this method.

I've been using an Asus RT-N56U with a TL-WA860RE range extender for some time now but of late, I've been having to reset/re-pair the range extender WPS at least twice a month, which is getting quite frustrating.

And so, any recommendation for a replacement setup that would not require a range extender? I live in an apartment of 1300 sq ft. Imagine a rectangle, with the equipment at the upper right corner. Signal needs to reach lower left corner.

IINM, Native IPV6 is broken on that model.

Try Tunnel 6to4, fill in the DNS manually and use RADVD for LAN assignment.

Hi,

I am looking a new tplink router with dynamic bandwith control function. The function should be able to set bandwith allocation for each devices connected automatically.

For example:
I have 4 devices at home. When 4 devices connected together, internet speed will divided equally between this 4 devices. When only 1 device connected, it can use max speed alone. The router need to do it automatically. I don't want to set bandwith allocation per mac address.

I am not interested in deploying a transition mechanism.

I need the full IPv6 support as stated on the TP-Link box.

That's why I ditched the WR1043ND and used the Huawei WS880 with Xwrt-Vortex firmware instead.

Hi.

I bought a Cloud Camera model NC250 last year, and it has a problem of unstable connection. It frequently disconnects from the network. At first I thought maybe my router was not good enough and a bit too far. But ever since I use a new router this year, I'm more convinced that the camera is bad.

The distance from my router is about 10 meters. My current router is TP-Link Archer C5. I don't think the problem is with the router, the distance or signal strength, because whenever it's connected, I see the signal strength is shown as full bars in the app, and around 90% in the web interface. My phone can also connect to my network just fine from the camera spot.

So something is wrong with this camera. Please let me know how to claim warranty on it.

Dear TP-Link representative, several of forum member have been reporting about high cpu usage, slow boot time and slow down with Archer-C1200 model.

Is there any plan to fix the issue?
*
my c1200 work soo far soo well for me as compare to old Dlink Dusbin shaped router. which sucks like my grandma kancil
the only issue for me is the boot up time, quick annoying sometime when require a reboot , around 2 mins 35s
but after boot up it work brilliant!! even build it with vpn server function in c1200, i only can find this in high end router above rm600.

you can try lower down the high cpu frequency by trying the sugggestion below
1)turn off wps
2)off upnp
3)off ftp
4) turn off whataver function u can find in it

Try using in on Ethernet and see if the same issue happen.

My NC450 is pretty reliable after some wireless optimisation at a pretty congested area.

I recommend using wireless 20Mhz on channel 1/6/11.

It is frustating. I think u should abandon repeater/range extender. Clearly it wont help.

Try use powerline or pull lan cable and install another AP to where u desire.

Single AP wont able to cover whole house. Definitely need an additional AP.

What if I use it with the cable and no issue? I'm only going to use it wirelessly anyway because of the location.
I've applied your recommendation for the wireless settings. I'll monitor how well it goes. Thanks. smile.gif
