I've been using an Asus RT-N56U with a TL-WA860RE range extender for some time now but of late, I've been having to reset/re-pair the range extender WPS at least twice a month, which is getting quite frustrating.
And so, any recommendation for a replacement setup that would not require a range extender? I live in an apartment of 1300 sq ft. Imagine a rectangle, with the equipment at the upper right corner. Signal needs to reach lower left corner.
It is frustating. I think u should abandon repeater/range extender. Clearly it wont help. And so, any recommendation for a replacement setup that would not require a range extender? Try use powerline or pull lan cable and install another AP to where u desire.
Single AP wont able to cover whole house. Definitely need an additional AP.
