however the take off directly from the palm is the highlight of this spark. if you say easily fly off or lost won't dji ruining it? i guess normally those incident of drone fly off or lost is after they use the palm launching n straight use phone or rc to ascended it. the gesture mode with launching from the palm is meant for just selfie shoot or short distance pic or video only. not meant for flying high. if need to fly up higher better take off from the ground instead. just my two cents la.. haha

errr.. that time first time attempt hence kind of panic cause can't reach. it was hovering at certain height where i'm unable to reach including my friends too  laugh.gif . hovering there non moving until battery depleted and indicated low battery. so i was scare it will drop or etc.. so i try to use phone to go make it down but then suddenly the spark gone haywire and drift loh.  tongue.gif

That's what everyone complain in forum. Advertising with all this feature but most do not work as easy as they show in advertisement sweat.gif I think because using palm launch, you wont know if you have magnetic interference or weak GPS count thus the fly away. Yup agree, should just for selfie not even dare to fly up high or far, haha.

Ohh, scary. Drift is it due to go in to ATTI mode? but luckily no serious damage. I feel when get drone, need to have the mind set of might crash in every flight laugh.gif Not to say pilot skill but electronic may gone haywire anytime sweat.gif

Ah, Atti mode also. Yeah, thats correct, at least lost/crash Spark less pain compare to mavic sweat.gif The problem with Atti mode as I read from other is that it is not as responsive as those drone with no sensor/GPS assists, thus it's like almost impossible to control it properly. How good if DJI allow SPARK & Mavic to switch to Atti mode so we could train from there. laugh.gif

It will be stable because there is VPS (Vision positioning system) and no wind when indoor. VPS only work in well lit environment and certain height.

Just in case if happen to go into atti mode when at high altitude, we will know how to control tongue.gif in Atti mode, it can only maintain altitude but not position so if got gust of wind blow, it gonna follow the wind sweat.gif

I am current using Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with remote control to fly my Spark but I find the screen a bit to small.

Has anyone here uses Android tablet in place of their phone to fly Spark? If yes, can you share the brand, model, Android OS?

Thank you.

when indoor, shut off fans, and door, scare of drone fly away or wind push. and always wear propeller guard tongue.gif

when outdoor, im panic while drone set RTHome with 3min battery left. why? coz the drone will goes 50m (max set) and the drone taking leisure time to go back..

using phone and download available video cache, the file was not smooth. it jag, pixel and some jump over few sec.
