i've read that too much co2 supply could also cause it to melt... is it true??....

sometimes is not just the co2 or the water temperature, got other reason, like the ph, the water condition, no2, no3 those thing, water parameter will cause it become like that as well.

sometimes maybe your tank don't have the beneficial bacteria growing in the tank, like in the filter, so it might cause like that as well. maybe i'm wrong about it, but sometimes it might happen like that.

so how can i diagnose whats the problem leh??...

nope, the film of oil is created by the plants themselves...
those are the protein, that's y need surface skimmer to do the work..

after i added an air pump and surface skimmer, the layer of oil gone adi...

if u got the molly fish then is ok, molly fish tends to eat all the protein it can have, as what i got read it in some article.

weather damn hot.... i afraid my plants will get heat stroke... dont know what water temp now... i have 2 cpu fan blowing at full blast....

the black thing developing on the leaves, i think its algae... its kind hairy...
i also notice other plants starts growing out roots and stems... hopefully they will start growing even more...

going to get 1 or 2 algae eater already.... but the LFS didnt open today... aih... next day first lah.... i've also introduced a normal sucker into the tank to clean up the spots developing around inner tank wall....

don't simply put fish in oh they wil eat ur plants also. the black algea is BBA, manually remove it.

even though u put 10 fan, the result will still the same....
but few things diff is
1) u need to top up water more frequent.
2) u electric bill will cost more.

yeah.... i removed 1 fan already since its blocking my lighting... currently only 1 fan running... tap power from cpu power supply 12v....

waa.... so nice and so big ur tank...


anyway, jz diy'ed my lighting stand... temporary using A4 paper coz havent do the reflector...
