Ohhh... I see... I still lack a Co2 diffuser... at the moment just trying out with airstone.

On the pump with airstone, got benefit?

its got circulation, as whent he plant at night(no light), they don't need CO@, then need oxygen smile.gif

The benefits of airstone at night to produce oxygen is negligible.

my stupid tank .. muahaha .. still lack of good lighting, CO2 and high temp. 29-30 average .. will put a few cooling fan tomoro ..

coldfusion,
need to get your lighting up fast. Before your plants yellow. Also, do consider adding driftwood tied with a bit of java moss to make things look more interesting.

For layout, I guess if you landscape your slope from back to front, your tank will look much bigger. Also, please consider some midground plants.

For DIY yeast, i go with 1/4 yeast, 1/2 baking soda, and 2 cups of sugar for a 1.5 litre bottle.

For the Nutrafin CO2 bottle, I use slightly less than 1/4 yeast, 1/2 baking soda, fill sugar up to the first indicator and water up to the next indicator.

More yeast = more CO2 generated but runs out much faster.

But mine not the DIY... it is the package included in the Nutrafin.... followed instructions and it said last 30 days.... hahaha... but mine only 1 week... so funny.

Ohhh... thanks for the info for Nutrafin bottle....

Was wondering.... the yeast is normally sold in small packets and look like powder or is it the one sold in blocks and kept in the fridge?
