Yeah serious haha. For peak hour it is around 50 mbps+ down, and 20 mbps up which is so much better than horrible streamyx adsl connection. Signal is very stable when you place near a window.

Can TL-MR6400 or Archer MR200 be used for UNIFI if my Infinite is unstable?
*
at router web-based setting go to WAN and see if there is streamyx/Unifi options there.. if there is then it can be use with streamyx/unifi.. PPOE also can if not mistaken

The price is around rm400 at taobao, so I guess that's pretty much the price range for this model.

Previously using my phone got 5-30Mbps. Now this, alas money well spent.

Buying this you will regret. Not working with CA and probably not working with phone call(3G not compatible and voLTE not support).
Only buy -22 version in Malaysia unless you do not care about half working version.
Better buy B310 it has same function with this.

Bro, you're using ipv6 setting?
Also, when making/receiving call, line would drop to 3g from 4g?

hi all, I have a few questions hopefully someone can clear me out.

I am moving to a new place, the downside is that there is no unifi or streamyx available in the building. so after talking to friends and such the better way is to go digi infinite 150.

I see a lot of people sharing huawei router in this thread, do I really need one? or can I just grab a tp-link from nearby store? or jus terther using my spare handphone? Is there any significant difference between them? only me and my wife will be using the internet. she most likely only scrolling facebook and watching drama from youtube and such. And i'm mostly for gaming at night.

I have now no choice but to game on wireless broadband also, does anyone do gaming on digi 150? is the connection stable enough and how's the ping? I am playing TOS and the game server is in Singapore. My location is Johor Permas Jaya and 7th floor if that matters.

Can I buy a prepaid sim (to test the 4g connection at my new place), and then change it to infinite plan? does it take a long time to change plan? or is it better to buy a new infinite card? and is there any contract?

Thanks a lot.

wow, does it have a big difference if using non LTE-A device ?

I'm in the LTE-A area based on the website and while using a IP7+, max i can get is 40mbps non peak and 15mbps peak, would there be a big difference in terms on speed if i upgrade to a LTE-A router ?

A lot of them use it to replace tm or unifi, so a huawei router with phone connection is better because the package do come with unlimited call brows.gif tp-link model have no phone connection. You can use your spare handphone and tether as well... easier and more mobile... but then you will need to keep your handphone charged most of the time and the tether wifi signal is usually weak and speed maynot be as fast as router.

Ping is acceptable and connection is stable in my area but... then again, it really depends on your location. I'm user at Johor, kempas area

Yes... please buy sim card and test. But do mind you that the changing from normal to infinite plan have some issue last time reported in this forum, so not sure the problem is fix. But I think it is best just request for new infinite plan sim card... quicker. and there is no contract thumbup.gif

get a prepaid sim first test the speed, if ok then u can instant upgrade to postpaid. it's quicker than wait u get the new sim/apply new. u can use the prepaid sim once they switched to 150i while u waiting for the new replace sim to be arrive. icon_idea.gif
