Im not the only one, another user also opened 3 sets before able to get a good unit. and MULTIPLE owners have done 1 to 1 exchange on the spot, it just so happens the next set they opened they deem it good enough. tomei-r
and dozz comes to mind. < IINM dozz is the one who exchanged 3 sets.

If you still doubt me, then go and ask the manager of Gardens whether got such person who exchange units or not la on pre-order collection day. His name is Kit.

You can check in v3 and v4, but of course you're a dupe account. rolleyes.gif

and as i've said many times before, opening 4 sets is nothing to be proud of. Its actually embarrassing.

and if all you could gather from my long post was that im trying to boast about opening 4 sets of S8 then you completely missed my point. I stress again, I'm a STRONG advocate for owners who are unhappy with their phone to go do 1 to 1 exchange. Many have done it and succeeded. Maybe if you did not dare to ask and chose to live with it and now feeling slightly bummed out that you didnt ask for an exchange and have a not so good set so you want others to suffer with you. Yeah? whistling.gif

Guys i planned to buy a microsd card for my phone..came accross this item in lazada. Is it legit?

If u don't mind you can try ordering it first. If its really fake, you can request for refund from customer service. Might take some time though.

But, seriously, for that price. I would say its fake 99%

im glad you got a 1 to 1 exchange for your dead pixel issue. Unlike maiden222 who doubts anyone can do 1 to 1 exchange at all whistling.gif

Many here doubted you will get to do 1 to 1 exchange too because it is only ONE dead pixel while the T&C states need to have minimum of 3. But in the end they still exchange it for you. thumbup.gif

The sc staff told me currently no replacement part for s8 yet.. haha ..They exchange new for me

I want to know too. I haven't unbox my S8. Still thinking wanna sell or use it. Although my wife is using Maxis but I can't test it on her phone because I didn't have the game installed.

I used to envy my cousin with his S7e which can play the game without network lag but it seem to change with S8+. All I heard is lag lag lag.

My S6e also lag but I can solved it by forcing it to use LTE only mode which would disable all incoming calls. Tried the same code with S7e and S8. Although the menu would come up but I can't enable LTE only mode.

First and foremost, i'm not like debonairs91. I back up what I say.

With this I hope for those who doubt me and think I was talking cock and lying will stop doing so.

Again I say for the hundredth time, what I experienced is nothing to be proud of and what im advocating is for owners who are unhappy with their set to go and perform a 1 to 1 exchange.

Now for the drills.

1) In the morning I used the free Grab ride promo to go to Gardens to collect my phone.
Time: 11:22 AM
Date: 4 May 2017

2) Once reached there, I went to collect my PO unit and paid for it. I got confirmation from the store Manager (Kit) that I could come back within 3 days to perform an exchange if I found any issues with it. Hence I left the store without doing a "thorough" checking.
Time: 12:24 PM

3) Then I went to Celcom to change my Micro SIM card to a new Nano SIM card.
Time: 12:40 PM

4) Then I did some grocery shopping and went home using the free Grab ride promo again.

5) Upon reaching home and playing around the phone I noticed my unit had slight green on the edges and some scuff marks near the volume rocker, so I went back to Gardens to do 1 to 1 exchange. Note I cant use the Grab promo anymore since each account entitled for 2 trips only. So I had to drive there.
So I reach there did exchange until Im happy and when I finally settled for one, they had to issue me a new receipt. So heres the new receipt, note the name and time.
Time: 6:38 PM
Date: 4 May 2017

6) After done with all those I left happily smile.gif Note that I spent 3 hours in Samsung Gardens to perform my exchange request. So you think im still lying when I said I opened 4 boxes of S8?
