I always thought the setting simply means to fit a native 16:9 to the new 18:9 ratio size (factoring the 0.5 for the nav bar). It shouldn't hide the nav bar right?

It only hides during videos and games.

What is the battery life that you guys are getting on S8 (Not Plus) comparing to the S7(Non Edge). The S7 which i'm using is only giving me around 3hrs 30min SOT
