If you get charge with financial interest charge, will it appear in CCRIS?

For my case, I got charged with a BT early settlement fee in the November statement. Then got it waived before the due date. Then a financial interest charge appear in the December statement. To avoid any issue, I paid that fee in full. So I suppose it will show 0 at CCRIS

Actually what is the logic behind online transactions for overseas payment captured according to their timezone? I made two transactions (using PBB and MBB) on 1-Jan-2024 but both posted as 31-Dec-2023 transactions.

SMS notiffication and even the bank unposted transaction showed 1-Jan-2024, then later changed to 31-Dec-2023

I applied for a Maybank credit card in late 2022 via Ringgitplus, I got rejected then.

I just applied again today evening, got rejected again!

How is this possible? I got a housing loan approved at their "best" rate, i.e. 3.85% a few months ago.

I have all 0s on my CCRIS. I have 5 credit cards - 3 with usage around 60%, 2 more with almost nil usage.

I've never been rejected by another bank. In the past 12 to 24 months, I have had cards approved by - RHB, SCB, HLB, HSBC, Citibank/UOB, AEON, Alliance. Not a single rejected application.

But been rejected by Maybank twice now. Plus these guys are my primary bank.

Anyone faced this with Maybank?

I accidently used my Canada credit card that is saved in Uber app. I have a CASA with the same bank but with zero amount. How do make payment to clear the outstanding from Malaysia?

Maybank no such add card ? Only fresh application ? Not likely it will separate credit limit for fresh application right ?

Apply for maybankard 2 gold , but if not wrong I saw the branch staff go tick the platinum not sure this cause.

I applied for 2 cards, both got rejected. Not sure the reason.

My ccris good, salary no issue.

Currently only got 2 credit cards, but plan to cut 1 if the next one approved.

Do the banks limit the number of cc can be held by an individual?

Hi, my sister is applying credit card for the first time. She's 40 years old.

She only has one small car loan left (total outstanding less than 3k) and the loan is scheduled to be fully paid later this year already.

She in the senior management of a local Sdn Bhd company and earn approximately RM 60k nett (after deductions. Salary payment monthly Via Maybank). Gross is RM 100k monthly.

Which bank is likely to be generous for a first time cardholder like her? Does it make sense for her to expect RM 300k as her CL?
She has been using debit card and supplementary credit cards prior.
