I'm not sure. Normally, the firmware update will be released through 'Network Update' first. Then only through website download.

It will take sometime, until they update respective website with the latest update file. So, you have to check the website regularly.

bro ninja bought a new creative decoder + creative 5.1 speakers together. with that decoder he got 3 input and all output to his 5.1 speakers

about surround sound...
my tv got srs trusurround...
but never played ps2 before so cant tell the difference...
the sound (even tru 2.1) sounds so real...
i even have to tone down a little not to scare myself playing resistance in the middle of the nite

^ I might be wrong in saying this but Motorstorm does not have surround sound. Heck, u can't even hear the cars behind or beside u. Even when u ram into the other cars, u heard a small thud.. duh, that's a big disappointment for me in the sound department. U guys should try Ridge Racer 7, the surround there is phenomenal.
