^ I might be wrong in saying this but Motorstorm does not have surround sound. Heck, u can't even hear the cars behind or beside u. Even when u ram into the other cars, u heard a small thud.. duh, that's a big disappointment for me in the sound department. U guys should try Ridge Racer 7, the surround there is phenomenal.

# BuddyStorm for MotorStorm Tomorrow

Starting Friday, March 23, Sony will release a brand new in-game Buddy List to coincide with the European launch date.The list itself will be available as a downloadable patch that's activated automatically when users log in (followed by a quick reboot).

Once installed, the update will add a "Buddies" line to the boot screen located underneath the "Play" icon. Your online friends and their current status will be viewable from this hub, and if your friends are online, they can be directly linked through the MotorStorm list.

Sony has also confirmed that the Buddy List has a built-in filter that prevents people from infiltrating a set game list -- users will need to be connected to a buddy to get in.

# New Multiplayer Modes for Resistance FOM Added Today

Insomniac Games is treating gamers well lately. Last week, 1UP and EGM helped reveal Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction to the world and logging onto Resistance: Fall of Man this morning means a chance to download the first of several planned content updates.

Most people are reporting the download takes between 15-20 minutes to complete, and the big content additions are two new gametypes: Team Conversion and Team Assault. Complete details on both can be found in our previous article, but dedicated online players should be happy to see "Round Balancing" implemented in this update:

"Round balancing can be set "on" or "off" (default: on) when round balancing is on, if the number of players on each team is uneven at the end of the round, players will be moved from the team with to many players to the team with too few players. Parties will not be separated, So its not guaranteed to result in a perfectly balanced teams. Round Balancing is turned "on" for ranked games."

Additional maps will also be available for Resistance in May.
