maybe can try appealing and split credit limit. since it works for maybank 2 cards to ikhwan, i suppose the reverse will be okay as well

i did mine in the branch

i apply m2c while still retaining my ikhwan (but i told the officer that i'm going to cut it once i received m2c)

after received m2c, the officer helped me to cut my ikhwan on the spot

Wow, thanks bro! I was trying to do it within M2U and never managed to do it. Now I know it can be done via CDM and IBG from other banks saves me a tonne of headache!

Pro tip - keep an excel sheet of your charges.

That way you'll know when you're reaching your limit so you can IBG to recover your CL.

I used to do that last time when my CL was pathetic.

Why can't use M2U to transfer funds to CC account?

Coz his transactions are yet to be posted.

Because he uses the CL so much, he has to always clear the balance asap to use again.

If he uses M2U, he can't see the transactions so he can't pay them.

Eg - He swiped PayPal 4k. Yet to be posted but he knows he used 4k already. So he IBG 4K to offset and continue doing his business.

Why must see the transaction? As long as u transfer funds using M2u from CASA to CC, the CC's credit balance available will be adjusted accordingly and reflected online.

you cannot transfer more than the outstanding balance via m2u

Received my M2C. Can I just activate the Amex and ignore the other one forever?

If can't see outstanding, you can't pay via M2U.

Can.

Should not be an issue. But safer to activate it, set a pin and then keep it in the drawer till god knows when.

So this problem is peculiar to M2U, cos I just did for PBe n it was reflected instantly.

Hi guys, I just got my maybank 2 gold card recently, i notice that i didn't received any sms notification despite i already make few purchases online as well as swipe at few merchant place...is this normal ? I'm using the amex card..

Any MBB credit card agent here? Or any road show promotion?
Possible I can apply MBB credit card by using EPF statement? I seldom meet Maybank road show compare to other bank.

usually, u will get 1st sms notification for 1st use. after that, none because mbb set the threshold very high.

call CS to lower down the threshold to RM1.

Go gardens, within 1 hour can approve and collect the CC.

Apparently it seems like i didn't received the notification for 1st use when i use it in shell, will call CS and see how they respond. thanks for advice
