If do agree that the start stop is not the cup of tea for everyone. The only thing i can see people agree on this tech is when fuel price is high like maybe rm4 or rm5 per litter. Then you will feel the urge to save every litter of fuel.
*
that i agree... even tho i'm a premX fella..
just not right now in its current state of technology...

as i said earlier, if they offered premX with ESC and not the idle off as a special package, i'd have jumped on it...

not the leather seat tho... altho spilling tea on it would have less effect than on fabric.. hehehehhe

Last time got search abit about led

The heat was at the connector there and not the bulb
Thus heat sink( a cooler vent?)was a must for led light bulb

I think this was the reason your led don't last ( if the original was not led ) and it might even cause burn your connector ( I don't know what it call just call it the connector )

That why don't change led bulb if it original was not.

Maybe signal light / reverse can.
*
The connector is called a lampholder.
Some plastic like the plc (compact fluorescent) or ceramic e27 screw type for incandescent bulb.
Yes, the led was for a table lamp with a e27 lampholder.
Just lasted a few months..
But then again, which manufacturer want its product to last long time?
They won't be able to sell another for a long time, then 'chap lap' (bankrupt) aledi lor.. Kkekekeke
So, we the consumer have to pay more to manufacturers profit.

Actually hor, when feul indicaator says empty, and the orange light comes on, on flat ground, u can technically go another 50+ km...
Not 5 liters..
How perodua calculated 50km = liters, ah, that have to ask them..
Different cars have different amount amount of spare fuel. Depends on engine, size, weight, etc..
But the distance is almost the same about 50 to 75km.. That's the industry standard they all must "achieve" .
No matter Honda, Ford, Aston Martin, etc.

But here is where the term: your mileage may vary, will really vary, as there are some eco sifu can get 15 to 17 km/L in town driving but others (like me) can only get 11.5 kmL... It then again, I have a heavy lead foot..

Plus bring along spare tank of petrol if u wanna test this out.. Hrhehehhe
And u may also burn out ur fuel pump..

In the early 80s, 1983 to be to be precise, I drove a second gen Honda civic hatchback.
It had only a 1.3 engine but a manual tranny.
Carburettored, and definately less power than the bezza's, (advancement and all that and we're in 2018 now)..
But I had soo much fun with that car!
Engine response is something the bezza can only dream off..
I used to tear up and down Federal Hyway (much less cars then) and the run to Subang airport was fun!
My nemesis was the Ford Escort 1.8 RS.
Let's not talk about the fuel consumption, as I didn't count then..
Definitely much worse than the bezza.

My heroes were rally drivers from the group B teams and our local drivers.
Ah.. The flying Finns (they still fly), And a smattering of Europeans, and the lady Michelle Mouton! (women power!) of team Audi..
But amidst the sliding, skidding, flying...
0 to 100kmh in 1.5 seconds in loose gravel, they never counted how much km/L..
Granted that they didn't need to, but I really doubt that they had the temperament and discipline to do so...
I'm still trying to wrap my mind around this km/L thing but as an old dog, new tricks is hard to amass..
I'm really impressed with your high readings..
Even 13km/L is impressive to me.!
I'm just getting 11.5... Still going fast..
Lol
I salute you high achievers! My respects!
You people show that there is a different type of skill, where a thicker wallet (savings in petrol, tires, and brake discs) is the prize.

I'll most likely reach the destination faster but you peeps will get there richer than I.. Lol

Till then, keep up the fantastic job!

Pssst.. Please drive in the left lane ya...
Else I will have to over take u in the left lane, and that's not nice..
Heh

i tried huperoptik for the front (all sides and back) and it seems quite good..
good signal on the smartag and radio frequency for the barrier gate.

cant remember the numbers for heat (IR) and UV rejection values tho...
but it was done like 7 years ago where the rules for tinting was even lighter than what it is today...

has security film built in too

No worry, go register as rfid tester first, they'll call you for appt install rfid sticker in your car.
*
Nice..
But my smartags will stop working..
Not sure when, but that's progress, I guess..
I haven't read more about this new rfid system yet.. Will do so later..
Then, am quite sure I'll have more questions then..
Live and learn..

Ya everything normal...
But what my mind think is, normally car temperature wouldn't reach 100 Celsius, otherwise the water is boiling already.

So what other opinion about Bezza abnormal temperature?
*
water coolant is actually above boiling temp.
its just not bubbling cos the the cooling system is enclosed and PRESSURISED.
thats why when radiator or pipes is punctured or burst, the escaping water turns to steam immediately...

and the coolant/anti-freeze keeps the water from boiling at 100c and freezing at 0c.

if you going downhill it can hit like 89 C, but i'm not sure about prolong down hill let's say from cameron highland or genting highlands etc.
*
going down hill and engaging lower gear to obtain engine braking will not raise temp as much cos not much fuel is used,
the engine is just turning over cos the car's momentum and the engine's compression serves as the braking.
wears the engine out tho as higher rpm compared to just plain caliper braking...
but unless u have GOOD racing brake disc and pads, they will over heat quickly on constant usage going downhill (then no brakes).

so better use engine braking..

does the coolant needs to be changed as recommended by SA?
*
yes! coolant looses its effectiveness in time ...
and i forgot to add, its an anti rust too...

actually, if dont put coolant oso can... lol

just use plain water

those ahpek mechanic no change coolant one... they jz add water.. that happened to my old car..
*
actually need to do a radiator flush then add new water and coolant...

if money is a problem then can delay... no problems.

coolant comes in 1 litre can, usually they wont open for just a little use, then store away..
coolants is actually poisonous..

friend's dog drank and died..

its main use is in cold temp countries where overnight the water freezes in the engine..
and the oil..
see german tanks usage in russia winter.. they needed to start a fire under the engine to warm it up before starting..

*
Ask ur fren to change to metallic brake pads...
Can take more heat.
Works better in high temperature.

But doesn't work well when cold tho..
Must bring up to temp to start working well..

Or change to brembo brake system, Hahahha..
If can find for bezza la..

Just to share my fc again, after 1st free service (1000km). Everytime I pump petrol, I will record mileage and num of liter pumped.

Specs and conditions:
Bezza 1.0 Gxtra Manual
Stock car, 250kpa
load 1-3 persons
all types of roads, city and highway mixed, one trip to Genting Highland

Mileage during pump - num of liter to full (km/l)
0 - 30.5 (-)
436.9 - 24.5 (17.8)
820 - 18.65 (20.5)
1160 - 18.6 (18.2)
1402 - 12.7 (19.1)
1757 - 17.0 (20.9)

My thought? The fuel consumption is AWESOME. Plus I accelerated a lot, rev to 4+RPM when needed. On a side note, this car is perfectly fine to climb Genting with 2 persons on car, more than that I havent tested. Proof? Go from exit highway to hill top only takes 20 min (~19km)  brows.gif  brows.gif
