Nope, it'll got issue code if ecu not allow u to start your car.

Then you can clear the error code and you can start your car. Then must remember bring your car to service centre to fix whatever the error code show.
*
just left that code and send your car to sc. let them settle it. don't clear it or what so ever. most important thing is you don't tell them you cucuk obd reader at the terminal. else they will find reason blaming you cucuk that reader causing the system haywire. brows.gif

No bro copy/clone the file in the SD card will not work. Each device have a serial number and SD card is no exception. You can not edit the serial number of the SD card and it only program to read only when leave the factory. The head unit is being program to tie with the original SD card. Even you have 2 car and try to swap both original SD card will not works. As i know if the SD card is damage you have to go back to perodua to solve it.

If you manage to found a way to clone/copy the card do let us know. I am very interested as well.

this is new to me to be honest.

is there really no way to let the videos play while driving? I've seen a bezza grabber playing mtv while the car is in motion

is there a way without hardware tampering?

they use plug and play bypass cable, i think it doesn't tamper the current wirings as it is just plug and play bypass cable.

But with different fuel economy and reliability?
*
if you looking for fuel economy, bezza.
if you looking for safety, persona.
if you looking at reliability....... i'm neutral. maybe perodua reliability is slightly better in certain parts.

if you looking for build quality, I don't think bezza is vios level build quality either. To make things even more sour, vios build quality wasn't that nice afterall.

Don't get me wrong as I'm speaking as the owner of both of them.
*
no worries bro, i mean no offence. as bezza and persona have their own strengths so it's not that easy to make a choice to be honest.

*drag coefficient affected slightly*, seriously can feel that? Then not for me.. smile.gif
*
seriously, can we feel the difference in drag? the only thing to prove it is through lab test, or real life test on fuel consumption with different design. that piece is just a faux diffuser, it looks like diffuser but it never serve the function of a diffuser. an eye candy. indeed the new design looks better as it covers the spare tyre well, and i personally believe that it did disturbs the underbody airflow by a bit as it inches downwards blocking some airflow path.

RM790 insured value on windscreen, standard price would be around RM120, I think RM190 is a bit over priced.
*
if not mistaken, rule of thumb for windscreen insurance premium is 15% of insured value. you insured RM1000 value then you pay RM150 for the premium.

Read some article regarding this new diffuser affecting the drag coefficient very slightly. Should not affect everyday driving/fuel consumption.

do you remember the link to those articles? i'm equally interested.

Thanks......I had a feeling that perodua never cared about comfort in our humid hot weather. Guess I'll wait until proton imporves their QC, service and for the love of god, leave behind timing belt for chains.
*
actually i don't really get your problem statement, i'm quite surprised that they didn't found any problem (if there's really problem). If they did their works they should be able to nail the problem. Sorry i'm a bit blunt, or you like to have a freezing cold aircond for perodua cars? If that's the case, dream on bro, do get yourself a proton car or other make, perodua aircond only freezing cold at night time or rainy days, it will never cold enough during daytime especially you are doing city driving with lotsa stop go traffic.

Yeah, you gotta make the whole system changed, else you won't get the result you desired.
Remember, bigger capacity aircond compressor = higher fc. which answers why proton cars actual fc are not good.

I drove the bezza yesterday going upward slope , full pedal down
The engine knocking like a 20century carburetor engine😵
Not the ignition timing issues✖️

Is the lousy engine ,using high compression ratio to achieve fuel efficiency
The engine keep knock will cause severe damage to engine
Suck👎
*
yours is auto? or manual?
not too worry about it, my house saga blm also knocks even going up a gentle slope, til now the engine still running well.

Eco car gearbox are absolutely the most stubborn in down shifting..
So I downshift just before I reach the hill and with the higher rpm, accelerate up the hill..
If not, then the engine will lug its way up the hill at low rpm where there's no power and the gearbox still refusing to downshift... Lol
*
it is upshift happy but downshift unhappy. due to the eco setting, the car even hesitate when you floor the throttle, it took a good 1 second to confirm your decision and take relevant actions, the sequence of action starts by more throttle, then more fuel injected, then it only follow by downshifting. total time taken probably 2 to 3 seconds from you floor the throttle to downshifting. laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Yes
*
i see.... my experience is alza 1.5 going up the genting hill road, 2nd gear (lowest it can shift to on the column), floor the throttle, and the car is still crawling slowly. Yes, i believe it should be the same for bezza gb as well. However given it enough time it should be able to go up to a higher speed. Remember, when you pass the max torque rpm you will see the engine speed shooting up but the car feels less torquey. it feels fast due to the engine roar and the low gear position, but it wasn't nimble.

for E-AT gearbox, you need to floor it to tell the gearbox to downshift, else it will really happily staying as top gear as it could be. i don't deny the gearbox wasn't that efficient at all (maybe).

Some time is small issue, the ECU detected something wrong then won't let u start engine at all, u need call perodua centre to tow ur car to have a check.

Second option (not recommend), buy OBD2 adapter from ebay/amazon, plug in OBD2 port and diagnostic the board, then clear the error code and you are ready to start your engine. However you'll lost warranty support if you clear error code yourself. Below is the common error code.

http://www.myautorepairadvice.com/obd_2_codes.html
*
i personally don't agree to erase the error code on our own when the car is still under warranty. And i concur your thoughts that sc will void your warranty if they find out you clear the error code. They able to know.

My experience is the TRC action light is ON, Eco Idle Off light Blinking, Check Engine Light ON, no aircond cooling, but then the car is driveable and it can be started. After a restart, TRC light OFF, ECo Idle Off Light stops blinking. Only Check Engine Light ON, another restart after 2 hours, nothing on the dahsboard, but the error code is still there. I scan it with OBD reader and the trouble pointed to some possible loose connection, i send it to sc and it took them half day to nail the problem.

A word of advise, do follow the proper starting procedure regardless you are key start or push start, in owners manual it is clearly stated these steps, ACC --> ON (wait until last warning light off i.e the airbag light) --> START. The mechanic in SC challenges me stating i didn't follow the correct starting procedure (in fact i always follow three steps procedure), i told him, no such thing. he keep quiet.

i read back you have added 50% tint.

not sure why yours hard to cool down. Mine brown color with black roof sticker and stock tint.
I just adjust the temperature and 3rd fan. within 5 minute can cold.
*
i ask the same question and there's no answer for my question as well. Probably he compare the aircond of perodua vs proton
