Some time is small issue, the ECU detected something wrong then won't let u start engine at all, u need call perodua centre to tow ur car to have a check.
Second option (not recommend), buy OBD2 adapter from ebay/amazon, plug in OBD2 port and diagnostic the board, then clear the error code and you are ready to start your engine. However you'll lost warranty support if you clear error code yourself. Below is the common error code.
http://www.myautorepairadvice.com/obd_2_codes.htmli personally don't agree to erase the error code on our own when the car is still under warranty. And i concur your thoughts that sc will void your warranty if they find out you clear the error code. They able to know.
My experience is the TRC action light is ON, Eco Idle Off light Blinking, Check Engine Light ON, no aircond cooling, but then the car is driveable and it can be started. After a restart, TRC light OFF, ECo Idle Off Light stops blinking. Only Check Engine Light ON, another restart after 2 hours, nothing on the dahsboard, but the error code is still there. I scan it with OBD reader and the trouble pointed to some possible loose connection, i send it to sc and it took them half day to nail the problem.
A word of advise, do follow the proper starting procedure regardless you are key start or push start, in owners manual it is clearly stated these steps, ACC --> ON (wait until last warning light off i.e the airbag light) --> START. The mechanic in SC challenges me stating i didn't follow the correct starting procedure (in fact i always follow three steps procedure), i told him, no such thing. he keep quiet.
