There's Console Region and Nintendo Eshop Region.

I just choose US.

Console Region will affect in game data setting (For example, in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild the temperature could be listed as either oF (when set to the US) or oC (when set to Australia).

Changing your console region may also affect the language choices available.

What about Eshop region?

The differences as I understand are:-

- Currency. If you set US, its in USD. If you set Japan, it will be in Yen and the Eshop will be in Japanese lol.
- Some game deals only available in certain region at a time
- Downloadable content

As I understand, v2 has extended battery life.

I saw some modded switch which could allow download game instead of buying ori game, is that need to be specific model like v1 or v2 , or both model can be mod ?

To play in the switch's eco is very expensive compare to DSL and Wii...   

I owned Wii U too ....recently just bought am used disc with RM30 ...it able to satisfied kids for 2-3 weeks only

nowadays, kids are very demanding, poor parent ...poor

Btw, what is DSL means ?

For Nintendo's Switch Online, say the Switch have 2 user profiles, the Individual Membership subscription only allow one profile to play online?

If  both 2 users want to access online using the same Switch, I will need to either subscribe 2 Individual Membership or Family Membership plan?

hi guys just purchase nintendo switch. new user here. i noticed that the download speed from eshop is very slow. Is that normal ?

New to Nintendo Switch, already placed an order for the console. While waiting for it, would like to check on the recommendation of region game for future purchase. Planning to just stick with US account if possible.

1.  But say if other than US, between EU and AU which region is advisable to choose from?

2. As I've check AU tend to have delay in getting the game, will this lead to lesser DLC as well?

3. Saw most of seller is selling only US, EU, & AU. Then SEA is fall under which?

Choose US as there are other official parallel game seller such as Walmart, Amazon, Target etc which do their own sales. You can also easily find cheaper US games on reddit.

SEA hardware is officially distributed by Maxsoft. No eshop.
