I’ve followed online tutorial to share my games with my wife. Currently we playing Animal Crossing. Wanna ask if I purchase the Nintendo Online Family subscription, can she use it to visit her friends?
We tried to visit locally but it can’t works, but currently we don’t have the Nintendo Online yet. Not sure is it the local visit also need Nintendo Online.

nope. even with ninetendo online membership u cant do local visit. this is one of the most frustrating issues on ACNH game people reported when they do gameshare. many people tried that, and some ended up buying another digital copies of the game tongue.gif

Sorry, I'm referring to Nintendo Online, not local visit. Let's say I subscribe Nintendo Online Family for me and my wife, will we able to visit each other island via online since we are sharing the game?

Are you playing AC on one console or do each of you have your own console?

We using 2 switch. 1 is mine and another is my wife. Have already play for awhile. Just not sure is it if I subscribe the Nintendo Online Family, can my wife visit her friend online, since her game is shared from my account.

just to clarify, you mean that you bought 1 digital copy under your primary console (Nintendo account) and the wife is using the second console as non-primary (same Nintendo account) ?

if you were able to start with 2 different islands using this scenario... then i guess the main deterrent (if exist) would be the ability to stary/play the game simultaneously.

CODE
i believe the "workaround" you're looking for goes like this :-

Primary Switch: Have your friend or family member who does not own the game on their account sign in and start up the game on the primary Switch. It’s important that they use their own, separate Nintendo account. That account will also need Nintendo Switch Online for any online multiplayer mode.
Secondary Switch: You should sign into your game-owning account on the secondary Switch. You will need an online connection. You’ll also need Nintendo Switch Online if the game is online multiplayer.

With this method, two people can load up the same game on two systems and play together in online cooperative modes. Or you can each load up two different games from the main game-owning account.

notice that the "workaround" is counter-intuitive  sweat.gif

1-3. As far as I know to buy games through eshop need to access using your Switch console. Don't think can buy through Nintendo website.
4. Yes, to change the region of your eshop just change the "Country/region of residence" as per attached in the image.
5. Still can play even if you change region after purchase, it's just that when you buy the game from that region you get gold points and that gold points is not transferable to another region. If you change your region again, the gold points will not be carried over to the new region.

Gold points example: If you pay $59.99 for a game on Nintendo eShop, you’ll earn 300 Gold Points.
Those points can be redeemed for $3.00 toward your next eligible purchase.

You can buy online but is only US and Canada region, go to https://www.nintendo.com/games/buy-digital/
Some games are only available in physical, but mostly have digital version.

I'll suggest go to https://eshop-prices.com/ to check which region have the lowest price and then buy from that region by changing your region in your account. Do note on you credit card bank international charges, I'm using Revolut (I'm based in SG now) to get lowest exchange rate and no bank's fee.
