I'm not looking to go down the TC route anytime soon -simply because my experience coiling Nickel was such a pain sweat.gif I'm not looking to spend too much atm - untill I can prove to myself that I can proper stay away from them ciggies.

I think I'd favour a single batt mod since portability is a big thing. I hardly use my IPV3Li coz it's so bulky to bring around.
I just google Dicodes and holy crap I'm not willing to drop that kinda money on a mod sweat.gif (btw Winston Capsules - they have the little capsule that you break inside and it'll give you a hint of flavour)

I'm actually liking the Serpent Mini for a MTL - all I do is severely restrict the airflow. Seems to do it's job. Hesitant to get a Kayfun coz last I checked, the real deal is hard to get and even if you could, it's bloody pricey. Unless I opt for a FastTech 1-to-1...which comes with it's own demons, what with the erratic QC and what not.

small single battery mods, get the istick pico or the evic vtc mini though the vtc mini is already dated, but it still works quite well for me..
both the istick pico and evic vtc mini has the option to have its firmware upgraded, i've ran a custom firmware namely the arctic fox, and its works way way way better then the stock joyetech firmware.

other than that, there are dna devices running with a single 18650/26650 battery, vt75, vt75 nano, epetite runs on single 18650 battery with dna60, u just need to search the net more..

for clone tanks, try to look around for clone tanks from SJMY and SXK, both are reputable companies that produce 1:1 tanks, QC is top notch though u might just be one of the unlucky person to a receive a lemon...
well, authentic tanks also faced the same issue..

Thanks for the answer, ordered the one from shopee..
Can't wait for the FT one already.. cause it seems like everyone is praising this o atty.
Can't wait to try.. btw what is your build for the o atty?

Yup. same thing here. I can't wait. so, sapu the shopee one first. after used for two days, straight order from FT again. Nowadays, only use these two dripper day and night. I am the lazy type.. need two to reduce the cotton and coil changing. Again, appreciate those who recommend me this dripper. Awesome...
As for build up, again, lazy fella.. simple 8 wrap 3mm diameter SS 316L space coil... tried lesser and more wrap, but stick to this at the end.. trust me, u gonna enjoy this dripper. thumbup.gif

Best option for you is the merlin RTA then.
Basically the bigger version of merlin mini.

Hope that helps

Thanks a lot bro 😁 well, the basic that i've learnt, never charged overnight and use external charger right? Is efest and solo tech batteries are good enough? Or lg @ sony batteries recommended?

During my first week of vaping, i always watch and feel the mod if its get too hot, worried it might be explode lol

The Goblin Mini V3... That is, IF you also can find the separately sold 3ml "extension" unit which makes it into a 6ml tank, if larger capacity is what you want. The tank itself comes with both a Merlin style side single coil deck and a normal Velodeck in the packaging.

Personally I'm already on my 3rd GMv3 (my previous ones were silver and didn't match my current Black-Red Nano all that well). Besides the occasional leaking out of the bottom airflow (even with a JFC) and the fact that the JFC area loosens when subjected to multiple impacts (falls... I was quite hard on my previous mod + GMv3); there is very little to fault the tank with. Flavour is on point and coiling/wicking is dead simple (at least compared to the wick-however-pun-leak GMv1 and v2).

So yeah.

That said, while minimum airflow IS comfortably within the needs of a single-cell MTL setup, what I do know about the GM series is that the chamber tends to flood when set to MTL. HOWEVER, the JFC on the v3 can be set to help mitigate that, at least in theory (coz I run DTL and haven't tried MTL setups in a while).

nasrulbond Certain Mods (DNAs mostly) are fine to charge batteries inside with, though personally I charge all my cells externally anyway.

As for battery types, if possible stick to LG, Sammy and Sony Oris. Efests and Solos (and Basens and whatevers) are all re-wraps anyway, and all those 40-45A claims are largely bullshiat to begin with.

However, Efest is among the more trustworthy re-wrappers (at least in terms of quality of cells used, the amp claims are all still BS) so they should be fine, at least when you absolutely can't find any LG, Sammy or Sony Ori batts.

Whatever pun, remember to get battery cases if you plan on carrying spares with you. The biggest sin with li-ion cylindrical cells is carrying them around naked. The energy potential of a SINGLE 18650 is enough that if one shorts long enough to go critical in your pocket, you can probably say goodbye to that pocket AND that pair of pants... if you're lucky.

Ermm. Errrr. Ummmmm.

BTW, actually my Lambo V2 masih bleh pakai lol. Of course every tank I own semua subohm sudah so it can't fire anything lol.

And abam Chu made me wonder, can my Vela (with the 18350) fire my GMv3 without exploding? Considering those old Efest 350s aren't rated to anything over 10A, I'm not so sure and I don't think I wanna sacrifice a hand to find out.

Good news, regarding my stuck ejuices with the pharmacy department! Contacted ejuices.com (where I bought my juices) and they say they are able to get the juices back and give me a refund. I just lose the USD$30 shipping. Expensive lesson learnt!!!

Now, where do you guys order your juices locally? Thinking of trying thejuicemachine, any reviews? I'm really looking for 6mg US juices!

You could on the single coil. Theoretically just build above 0.5 but to be safe I usually give myself a buffer area and build around 0.8-0.9. To be really safe, build above 1.0. Occasionally I stealth run a Corolla with an 18350 Phenom or Nemmy.

I'm actually running the VTC mini for my daily driver. Will look up this artic fox fw and see what it's about. Thanks for the info! biggrin.gif

I actually have been looking at the VT75 - not a fan of the style though. Quite like how the lavabox looks like, but not ready to drop that kinda money just yet. Tbh, I much prefer how the subox looks like - simple and sleek. Alas, I sold mine off to a fellow budding enthusiast. I guess, as you said, I need to actually put in some research of my own sweat.gif

SJMY and SXK. Got it - many thanks!

Considering you're looking more at pure 18650 mods, by VT75 you mean the Nano. I do agree the styling can be a bit... divisive, though I do think the bigger VT75 is worse at this compared to the Nano.

Additionally, if you're set on a single 18650 ONLY DNA mod, there's also the VaporShark Switchbox (which can be a PITA to find), the S-Body Macro DNA75 (which unfortunately has a loose magnetic battery cover) and the SMY DNA75 (which looks pretty nice and low key if you don't mind the "horn" on the battery door).

And that's about it for Pure 18650 DNA75 Mods. Which is kinda sad as these small single-cell DNA75 mods are much better IMHO than the huge 18650/26650 combis that OEMs seem to prefer coming up with.

BTW, just FYI, DNA75 kinda sucks for above-subohm (1ohm+) Vaping, coz it is INCAPABLE of delivering the full 75w for higher resistance coils, because it actually doesn't do 9v (not to mention that max resistance is about 1.5ohms).

Funnily enough the smaller DNA60 board is better at this IINM.

Anyway, just to add to your choices, there's actually this new upcoming DNA75C update with a HUGE color screen (which also DOES do 9v) due out soon, alongside the DNA250C update.

Also this, proof that the HCigar design teams have finally lost their minds:

I really hope that's not their end product coz as bad as the OG VT75 design was, THIS is in a league all of its own.

Nice! Cheers mate!

Took a look at it and it's really quite sleek looking. Maybe I'll find a used one (or pre-loved if I'm feeling fancy laugh.gif )

Yup, meant the nano. Although looking at it again, I could probably learn to like it. Especially if the price is alright biggrin.gif

Took at a look at the rest of the recommendation...though the design is right in my alley, I'm not sure the wifey would be too agreeable with me spending that much on a mod (unless I can prove that I'd quiet smoking entirely laugh.gif ). Especially the VaporShark Switchbox - love how it looks.

I haven't gone more than an ohm in a while...I generally don't recoil myself anymore since I busted my hand - usually when I get juice from a b&m I'll get them to rewick and recoil. Rewicking I can still do myself; every two weeks or so, depending on how bad it is.

From what I noticed, design was never HCigar's strongest suit. I mean...you either fall in love with em or just...yeah laugh.gif To each his/her own though. I can almost like the VT75 (Nano). We'll see what the used market turns up.

I must say I really appreciate the posts you've contributed (from the laptop subs all the way here - no I'm not a stalker but you do have a memorable Avatar laugh.gif ). So yeah. Cheers mate biggrin.gif
