After update to MIUI 10.1.1.0 Stable, i feel my phone become smoother than before.

Been using for a few hours now. Fingerprint unlock is slower. Battery wise, no comments.

Updated to 10.1.1.0.
I like the new multitasking screen.

Though it's a bit odd about the default icons. Seems like they remove white border/background which is good but their smaller size looks something is off about them. Maybe the layout. I don't know.
The status bar and clock seem off too when you pull the notification down completely.
And I hate black and white status bar. All the icons black and white!

Thankfully though this update fixed my issue with search in Settings. No more crash when searching in Settings.

You mean portrait mode? IMO it's just it doesn't do a good job, I just tried it in room lighting condition, if got chance I will take to outdoor and try

Batt usage now around 5 hours screen time. Prev i could get around 8 hours screen time

remember to recalibrate the batt..

Help!!! How to recover deleted photos n videos in Redmi Note4?

After reading the reviews of the recovery tools most are bad or with limited result.

I tested using another phone(RN3) by deleting most photos(after backup) in the Gallery and the use Google Photo app to backup and sync and surprisingly all those I deleted were also backup to the Google cloud. But it works only partially for my RN4.

Would probably try using Recuva but too bad Recuva can't detect the RN4 as an external drive but has to be done in this elaborate manner:
