How much would it cost for each service? When do I need to do major service? Anyone have an idea of service fees?

Hi guys! I want to ask for recommend, there is an option for me to choose either 2years/40,000km free service or rm1000 cash rebate. I calculate my usage of old car is about 2223km per month, so is about 18month will reach 40k. Should i take which option?

I just bought mine. I opt for the free service and Labour because those cost are subjected to inflation. And if touch wood any major part spoil, pretty sure the cost of part itself will make it way more worth it when compared to RM1k haha...

Though keep in mind they would have done their market research so the offering will be comparable

Is free service, not free part if any of your major part spoil~ Even major part spoil and you are still under warranty then you don't need to pay anything.

warranty does not cover wear and tear components, everywhere is the same.

Almost all (6 out of 8) models from Honda are using CVT... if it is really problematic, I think many people would be complaining now.

Yeah dats what i thought too...Recently during yumcha session with my buddies, a fren of mine said the cvt gearbox on previous honda city are problematic especially those above 100k mileage, few of his frens driving honda city shared their problems with him.
