Y mostly the puppy sold are 2 months old geh??
i fed her twice per day, morning 7am, evening 7pm.
Every morning, i no need to tune my alarm clock, automatically she will bark bark bark, wake me up lah.....not late to work, haha.......tired now....

Most puppies are sold at 2 months old because it is a 'suitable' time for it to be separated from its mother. Puppies should stay with their mom until 8 weeks old for milk, love, etc.

I think you should feed your dog more. Try going 3 meals a day for 3 months more before cutting down to 2 meals a day when he's 5 /6 months old.

When i go home, she will bark....
take her out from the cage, pat her, then will diam diam....
She loves it when i rub her stomach.
How to deal with the barking problem, meaning sometimes when i dun wan her to bark, she'll be quiet. Can be trained at this young age??

Yes, everything can be trained at young age even though some might say start only after 4 months.

He is excited to see you, thus barking is a way to greet you "Welcome home, I missed you!" From what I have heard from ppl who has own dogs for many years more than I ever did, dogs build up gas within them so barking is part of their life, something they do (humans and cats dont bark, do they?) For dogs who seldom bark, they usually pass gas (kentut) very smelly...

Yes, all dogs love tummy rub. You can judge his comfortableness with tummy rub. Does he turn around and expose his tummy to you for rubbing? If so, then your dog is very comfy with you and the environment.

When you take the dog out from cage, always hold it for a while - I read this soemwhere, its so calm the dog down, slow his heart beat. Dont let it come out like a mad dog - bad habit.

hahaahahha ... i do agree what u say for the cage matter . take out ur furkid and hold it awhile to avoid they come out from cage just like a mad dog . hahahaha ..! is true honesty . have to let them calm down ...and normally dogs do like people to touch and play with their tummy , they feel very comfortable with it . just like my furkid oso . she really like it

IMHO, When your dog barks, it is not advisable to carry him out immediately. In future, your dog will think that, by barking you will allow him/her to be released from the cage.

hahahaha.. maybe your dog is active wit his new home.. that why keep barking every morning as it is 1day for him at your house..

yeah .. when my doggy cry .. i wont go and take her out , i just ignore her , then she will sleep/rest when she's tired because she know no one is coming for her haha..

haha when my dog first came to my house, she was as timid as a mouse. and so GOOD GIRL. But after a few days she began to run here and there.

Added on March 18, 2007, 1:13 amYa I do the same too. Or I will use a rolled up newspaper to smack her nose. Which makes her uncomfortable. That's how I train her to keep quiet. I couldn't risk having her barking out loud cause I'm staying in acondo.

LOL u smack her nose ? not afraid that she might die ? dog's nose very sensitive and important ah , don smack her nose la.. smack her butt a Wah u stay in condo still rear dog ah .. ur neighbour didnt complain ah ?

unfortunately my neighbour is a malay. i wrote a note to him telling him that I'm helping a friend to take care of the dog. If there's any barking when I'm not around please tell me lo. Anyway so far my dog did not make any noise. I'm gonna shift end of this year hopefully nothing bad will happens.

As for the nose, I learned from a breeder. I hit very softly only. Not like hit till berdarah, LOL I will not forgive myself man.

Oh then ur neighbour quite a good guy la , mostly Malay doesn't like dog .

Mind you, I really spoiled Germaine. Too pampered which cause her to be like this. The other day we went to Ikano's Pet Safari, to meet up with my friend's silky. Wa, first time see Comet (my friend's male silky) she barked so loud, and growl at him as if wanna bite his nose off. Just don't now what's wrong with her. Likes to whine when I don't give her something. I guess it's time to teach her a lesson lo. Have to be strict with her.

my friend tell me some body pass by her shop , will look at her dog and say '' very cute ''
and some malay really eager to own a dog . but pity their religion make them cant own a dog .
sumtimes i went 1u pet wonderland , and malay even say dog really '' comel ''

ya the other day i went to ikano, a cute malay guy tried to sayang my dog. then his gf tarik him away LOL

ya i got bring my furkid to ikano also . then a malay girl even touch my furkid and ask many thing . my gf say perhpas she is not a malay . but is true , she and her friend is a modem malay . that's why i prefer modem malay thinking , cuz from what i noe their religion make them think that dog = '' syaitan '' >..< but now getting better , some of them no more hate dogs edi

My doggy is PUG mix SPITZ .. i last time got one dog also.. but i spoiled him , then he grow big already very very naughty , difficult to teach .. so now this new puppy i wanna teach lo.. if not later grow big already naughty again ..

Mine last time very notty one.. simply bite those slippers , then u wanna leash him , he wont let u leash , somemore wanna bite back, will run here run there .. lol ..
