I'm sure a lot of us wanna get a puppy, but dunno wat need to be prepare, how to care for a puppy, say..........2 months old.

WHat should be the brand of the food?
How much should the puppy being fed? How many times per day?
How to take care of the pee and poo problem?
What should be done for its health care, jab, pills.........
How to stop puppy from crying at nite?
How to make it understand that commands?
WHen should it be toilet trained?
For apartment dog, and working owner, how to take care of them?

etc etc........
Those who r experience it do share their knowledge. Although i din own one, but I'm willing to learn as well before getting one.

Get a book if you can, they'll teach you from A-Z when getting a pup in the book. That'll help you a lot.

Your friend bought the puppy from where? Normally a good breeder would help you by guiding and giving advice... petshops normally won't give the correct answers...

juz some advice.. keeping a dog is a long time commitment. so buy only if u really/badly wanted one. dun wan dogs end up in SPCA later.

Yes, everything can be trained at young age even though some might say start only after 4 months.

He is excited to see you, thus barking is a way to greet you "Welcome home, I missed you!" From what I have heard from ppl who has own dogs for many years more than I ever did, dogs build up gas within them so barking is part of their life, something they do (humans and cats dont bark, do they?) For dogs who seldom bark, they usually pass gas (kentut) very smelly...

Yes, all dogs love tummy rub. You can judge his comfortableness with tummy rub. Does he turn around and expose his tummy to you for rubbing? If so, then your dog is very comfy with you and the environment.

When you take the dog out from cage, always hold it for a while - I read this soemwhere, its so calm the dog down, slow his heart beat. Dont let it come out like a mad dog - bad habit.

Oh then ur neighbour quite a good guy la , mostly Malay doesn't like dog .

ya the other day i went to ikano, a cute malay guy tried to sayang my dog. then his gf tarik him away LOL

My doggy is PUG mix SPITZ .. i last time got one dog also.. but i spoiled him , then he grow big already very very naughty , difficult to teach .. so now this new puppy i wanna teach lo.. if not later grow big already naughty again ..

Yeah , last time in JB .. i know one pet shop , the vet in there is a Malay girl.. she love dog so much LOL.. i was so shocked when i saw that ..

Mine last time very notty one.. simply bite those slippers , then u wanna  leash him , he wont let u leash , somemore wanna bite back, will run here run there .. lol ..

1st advice:
shih zhu cons is cannot live alone..never ever leave ur shih tzu alone for very long time in dark place.mine died because of that when try to come out of cage,head got stucked.we left her in her cage.my stupid maid lock the door and off the light.after 2 hours found her dead.god bless her soul.very sad

we never leave her alone for long time without lights close.that day got lots of guest came over.and the maid forgotten got dog there and closed the doors and light...had a bad feeling halfway thru the meeting but noticed that the door locked.the maid clamly just said later la open...then i grab the keys and open only to find the horror..how come the head can stick out while the cage is still close...sigh

oh, many ppl own a shih tzu wor............I think becoz the price is cheaper. But the thing is its quite stubborn, needs more patience to be trained. Like my frens shih tzu, noti loh....but stil young lah, can be trained.
That day i go to the Tmn Megah Pet Shop (4got wat name), i see a yorkshire terrier, very very cute!!! The sales asst there told me that this type of breed are very intelligent and less yappy than a shih tzu. and can be easily trained, is it true?? Since its a terrier, will it suitable to be kept indoor? is it a hyperactive dog like JRT?
But the price is RM2k+ lah......too much for me for now........

ya she cried also refuse to let the dog go...we had to burry the dog the same day...

I just got back home a puppy, he is a mixed breed of poodle n shitsu(I'm not sure how to spell...lol)....white colour...

He is very cute n very adorable, but I really have no idea how to teach him to pee on the specified area, such as newspaper, he WAS a very good dog, he always pee on the newspaper, but 2-3 days after, he begin to forget to pee on the newspaper, then i warn him n shout at him, after that, he pee on the newspaper again, very good dog...ok...the most headache thing has just begun, he pee on the floor again!!!!! he is very cute, I really don't want to beat him, but this time, I have no idea but just to beat him, ok, things change better....and then after a period, he pee on the floor again!!!!!!!  What the hell is he doing, I feel that he purposely do that...

What can I do? I really don't want to beat him, He will cry...I can c his tears....

Any vet to recommend at Subang area ?

Ok i went to the Mayo vet just now , then the doctor check , everything fine, he gave me a bottle of medication ask me to feed until stop diarrhea.
then the main problem is my dog is choosy fellow =.= , she likes to eat those expensive food, the doctor give me a pack of sample Royal Canine food and she likes it.

Guess i gotta get one pack for her soon LOL .. 2kgs cost bout Rm 35~45

LOL .. actually rm40 , go yumcha or CC a while also gone d, myself i feed my puppy with better food as long as she happy , now my mood really better d, hehehe..

I think all those pets i rear choosy one  , my dog don eat lousy food, and my iguana don eat not fresh vegetable too  , the green vegie abit yellow already also it wont eat.. only eat pure green fresh vegie ..

LOL , that's no way my iguana gonna take pic with my doggy , my iguana will only tail whip that fellow haha , that time i introduce my pup to the iguana, my iguana straight away opens its dewlap and ATTACKING mode ON ! lol ..

LOL , ok i will take that her pic tomorrow, now night time d, my camera not good, need some help from sunlight , but quite hard to take her pic also.. when i try to snap some shots, she come and kay poh kay poh and smell smell, see can play with the camera or not .
