as from review here: http://www.4gltemall.com/blog/tag/huawei-e5186s-61a/
that 61a model is for Australia.. fruitie had warned us that at Aussie there are using CA like B3+B3 or B7+B7 not the usual config use by Digi which is B3+B7..
I might be wrong though.. to be safe you might wanna ask your seller smile.gif

I am using BB100, surf net, streaming video and music use. Cannot finished all quota, so i don't need internet unlimited.
I am using DG postpaid legacy call plan, i can't finished my internet and call minutes, so i don't need call unlimited too.

is it same question like is it worth to take eat all you can buffet?

read this..
cat6 for tdd.. cat4 for fdd

QUOTE(kae7 @ Apr 6 2017, 01:09 PM)
weird
Sellers(from other sites) stated that E5186-61a for FDD, only support up to CAT4. CAT6 is for TDD band (max 220 or 224mbps)
E5186s-22a support CAT6 for both TDD (max as stated) and FDD

But the thing is , CAT6 supposed to connect two spectrum at once. So, should be 300Mbps as well

maybe need to ask coolstore and andrewdavid

ive been using tp link M7350 for my digi infinite 150. when im at work, its blazing fast around 70mbps (IDM shows 8MB/s shoots to 9MB/s sometimes). however when im at home, fastest i got is only 1MB/s (1 or 2 bar 4g signal). coverage map shows my home area is out of 4G coverage by 100 meters.

my question is, if i grab any huawei mifi with compatible external antenna, will i get better speed at home? because the price for huawei mifi is very very expensive im a bit scared if theres no improvement.

No such issue for me. Pretty stable at my side.
Truth to be told, my house in Seremban is faster. laugh.gif
Suka2 already around 50Mbps, sometimes 60 plus. biggrin.gif
*
Depends on which part of Seremban. My place at Tmn Bukit Kepayang mostly can get 1 bar 4G and the speed I get is in the range of 18 - 22Mbps

for me its not the device problem, its the coverage issue.. buying new mifi won't have big impact.. maybe you can do another test on another lte device and compare its performance on both places..

How about the speed outside of your home? Same as indoor or not?
