5w30 means the oil will work better (wont freeze) if lower temperature compared to 10w30 right?
where as if 10w40 means the oil will tahan better when temperature is higher compared to 10w30 right?


lets say Myvi which is more suitable?
and Altis which suitable?

well, speaking of people really taking care of their cars, i am definitely one of those. I always ensure my lubricants is genuine as i had a incident before. Prior using this lexus lubricant, i only use petronas syntium, which came from directly from petronas twin tower

the xW-30 , you dont need to care in Malaysia since W=winter. We only care about the number behind , xW-20/30/40/50. The higher the number= heavier oil.

Normal petrol car are usually on 30.

Regarding your reply on voucher revalidation.... I was told the voucher will be available again after 24 hours but as of now the voucher is still expired... and cs told me gonna send me new one to replace the old one (used during the glitch), but never also...

I drive a 20yr car and dont rev my engine above 3k rpm + change engine oil every 4~5k. For me engine oil doesnt concern me much.

if you use 30 is "thinner" than 40.

u can use 40 for your myvi, which does a better job in protecting ur engine, but since the lubricant is heavier than 30, your fuel consumption will increase.

But people who modify their car tend to take diesel engine oil, since they have better heat capacity.

i bought a lubricant from a fuel station (S*ell) located right , in Kajang town to find out that its not a genuine oil.

ill give you tips to spot fake oils.

If the oil smells like a burnt oil smell, means its definitely fake.

Depends on what oil you use , mineral/semi synthetic = 5k , fully synthetic = 10k.

since lexus is mixed oil. then 7k i shall change it?
