Thanks for sharing vista screensavers.

I've tried bubbles screensaver, and found that once toggle to screensaver it will set the background to blank black color. Do u know how to set screensaver background remain as desktop which like wat vista do? Thanks.

there are many factors that cause people to customize winxp rather than getting vista;
compatibility issues, aging hardwares, tight on budget, enthusiasm in desktop modding, just to name few of them
it's the customization that makes the whole thing fun and satisfying, for me at least

I made a mistake earlier.... During my first installation of VTP 8.0.1, I can choose which package to install but later on I noticed the transparency effect didn't work though it was installed. I tried to uninstall and reinstalled back but I have no more option to choose and it seems it installed the most basic package for me. Now my Vista transformation isn't that nice anymore.
Anyone knows what happened? Or can understand my problem?

I'm getting 16bit MS-DOS Subsystem error each time I restart or turn on my comp after installing Vista Icon Pack v3..any idea?

It says:-

C:\\Windows\system32\cmd.exe
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction
Choose 'Close' to terminate the application

My pc works fine after clicking close and no further error whatsoever. But it's quite irritating each time i restart or turn on my pc, the error message will eventually popped up.

Any solution to this?

I actually didn't have any intention to make any changes to my desktop, but the guide in the first page made it sound so easy.

I am currently using the latest VTP 8.0.1, the Thoosje sidebar comes with the VTP so I am quite happy with it. The only thing I am trying to figure out is how to add Gadgets to it as I have downloaded some Gadgets from their website, Googled to find some solutions and tried but it didn't work for me.

AFAIK, those .gadgets files is for original vista sidebar. its not for thoosje sidebar..u can read in the forum there..

I found W. Vista used high memory, so it not worth for office task...

i think vista misc pack in page 1 can do that, either that or vista icon pack, i forgot already

depends on how much RAM u have inside ur system, 2GB wud be sufficient (some says 3 or 4GB), but 1GB is a no-no
and u are in the wrong section btw, this is for winxp users modding their winxp to winvista

is vista transformation pack can make our system unstable dude?

some said not stable
but i did not face any problem so far

minor performance slowdown if u know which program to install and which not to
if like mine, i did not install all the 3rd party softwares, no visualtip, no sidebar and all, can be said that there is minimal performance loss
i juz use the icons, cursors, sounds and the vista theme (which now i replace with other windowblinds theme)

to minimize, just click the minimize button on WMP or if u meant making a mini player on taskbar, right click on taskbar, go to toolbars, then click on windows media player

to transform system fonts, i use VTP 8, 1 click solution. u can do it manually but it would be troublesome
