Hi all, I'm thinking of porting to Digi Prepaid. Currently, I'm with Celcom postpaid and I noticed the Raya online promotion.

There are a few things I need to clear up before proceeding to port. What is the different between the Live and Best package? My main usage on mobile is FB, browsing, and gaming. What difference would it make if I subscribe to the monthly auto-renewal RM 28 plan? Do I still get to enjoy the entertainment benefits if I subscribed to the Live plan?

M current billing date for Celcom is 18 every month. Say if I port over to DiGi tomorrow (15/6), will Celcom automatically terminate my service? If yes, when? And when will I get my new sim and be activated?

Can I retain my current number if I port over?

Thanks!

Hi all,

Considering to change to Digi. I have read through the info on the website, just wanna double check on the packages.

Will have 1 main line + 3 sub lines, so planning to take the 80 package for the main line + 2 of 38 sub line + 1 of 28 sub line.

1) The main line will have 10GB data, 38 sub line will share this. How about the 28 sub line? It's written on the website that it comes with 3GB data, will this 3GB be added to the 10GB pool for sharing?

2) All the main line and the 38 and 28 sub lines will be able to enjoy free calls among them right?

3) The total price I need to pay will be 80+38+38+28+10+GST right?

Thanks

Dunno about wechat but whatsapp will keep using the number you first activate/register it with unless you go change in the settings section. It doesn't actually actively check your current phone number... even when change it just send an activation text to your new number and if received correctly it switched to that.

I actually kept using my old number as my whatsapp number for a year despite new sim and number until I got unlazy and changed it, lol.

Oh thanks! I found the settings to change number. thumbsup.gif Cause the last time I changed from my original to overseas, they kicked me out all the groups and I had to rejoin lol.

Any other options which can offer me the same thing as Digi Postpaid 50 except for U mobile? Looking to port out again as their network kinda degraded again in my area recently.

Near USJ Taipan, speed is quite slow but within my expectation since the signal isn't good and only 5MHz bandwidth.

Live - freebies on FB quotas, social
Best - afaik more into IDD calls (lower rates)

So for now I'd say Live Prepaid..during mnp to DiGi, makesure you mentioned you want to mnp to Live Prepaid..else it will default to Best Prepaid MNP (cant be changed).

Celcom will terminate your line once you got port out request, normally it will take within 24-36 hours if there is no outstanding.. just wait for final bill that will be prorated nod.gif

And yes..you can retain same number..heck even my own number already jumped few taco be..er telcos already laugh.gif

im not agree with you because live do offer freebies on social with their internet add on.
since he will subscribe to rm28 add on so that he can use live prepaid plan to get 10GB more on streaming services.

this is my plan summary
