To avoid ppl stole the card from store/resell those sim card.
So i think u can only activate at the kk mart that u bought the sim.
Even other kk mart also cannot help u.

DiGi has some roaming at certain ulu place at johor as per told by other ppl at here before.
But what is ur roaming? 3G/4G/2G?

and for my database, there is no digi 3G or 4G at there...

for example cat 6 max can reach 300mbps, but how? the answer is by LTE-A
but LTE-A does not make your speed reach 300mbps...

OK, lets talk from spectrum....
10mhz can run till 75mbps
20mhz can run till 150mbps
40mhz can run till 300mbps (this is the cat 6 device can reach)

but, u know every countries got diff amount of telcos, government has to allocate to all telco then something happen like malaysia lo
every telco giving 10mhz of LTE2600 then all ppl capped at 75mbps even though they have cat 6 devices.


LTE-A / CA introduced:
to solve the issue above, LTE/A aka CA comes. u can use 900mhz, 1800mhz, 2100mhz, 700mhz, bla bla bla to combine together can become 20mhz till 40mhz to get the 300mbpz
currently in malaysia:
Maxis (20mhz 2600 + 10mhz 1800) --- unsure
Celcom (20mhz 2600 + 10mhz 1800) --- unsure
U Mobile (10mhz 2600 + 15mhz 1800) --- total 25mhz
DiGi (10mhz 2600 + 10mhz 1800) --- total 20mhz

of coz, you can combine 3 different frequency or even 4... if u willing to buy flagship phones


BUT!! there is 2k LTE devices in the world. with so many combination of CA, not every OEM willing to do LTE2600+LTE1800 for malaysia/asian
this includes our beloved huawei,xiaomi,oppo,vivo <----- most of the phones states CAT6 in gsmarena as they really support CA for TDD LTE
and those stated 2CA in gsmarena doesnot mean it support 1800+2600, maybe 2100+900 or 700+900, nobody knows...

Actually im also quite confused when i draft this.
Conclusion:
1) LTE-A =/= cat 6. LTE-A is combination of 2 freq. cat 6 is max the device can reach.
2) if you want CA for your respective telco, test it with the telco sim in the test phone at the LTE-A coverage, else waiting ppl post speedtest here...
3) u can just ignore my bxllshxt here if you buy samsung flagship/iphones series

u can see there is so much combination, qualcomm will ask OEM to pay for every combination for sure if snapdragon is purchased.
huawei also only configure CA starting P9 plus and beyond... pity for p9 users...

For digi, only will have better 4g coverage for indoor.(3mhz for 900mhz)
Speedwise same. As i din hear they will stack 900mhz with 1800mhz or 2600mhz or 3CA. So CA remain same. And if ppl logon to 900mhz will have max 30mbps only.

Only benifit for u mobile as they will add 15mhz(1800) for LTE and 5mhz(900) for 3g
15mhz LTE can let user reach 100mbps without interband CA....
900mhz for 3g will let more users enter um own 3g network instead of keep enter maxis 2G.


FYI, um already deploy many L1800 sites at penang johor perak sabah n sarawak. Lefting klang vally n n9.
So all those UM users actually enjoying 100mbps speed? I duno so i will go JB n test next week.
If UM still experience slow after enable these 15mhz, then UM users really over abuse the network...

Nth happen for 2600mhz and 2100mhz in Malaysia
Thr might be new auction for 2600 2300 and 700mhz this year but no update at all.

UM CA will be 25mhz which is ? 180mbps ? speed?
If u have 4x4 mimo phone, u might get over 200mbps as they deployed 4x4 mimo for band 7

So,
Band 7 with 2x2 mimo = 75mbps
Band 7 with 4x4 mimo = 150mbps
Band 7 (2x2) + band 3 = 180mbps
Band 7 (4x4) + band 3 = 250mbps
