It's the latest and greatest Samsung tablet considering not many great Android tabs are released nowadays, how is it not a flagship, in regards with tablets. Anyway, maybe the demand wouldnt be as high as the S8 but it would be perfect for them to have both the tab and S8 sold together in an attractive bundle. Tab S3 isnt really under the spotlight after the S8 announcement, but having it sold together with S8, that would be the best bet to have consumers take a good look at the Tab S3. I'm all in if such bundle existed with a good discount.

why would someone want a tab for? for ppl have s8 its good enough to be a phablet.

i am more expecting samsung to include the VR , gear 360 or dex or bundle with samsung watch

Why would they release one if theres no such demand? I commend them for having the guts to release a good tablet in 2017 still despite risking of having it failed. Tab S2 has been a good sell for them, maybe not in My, but you can have a check around that there's demand for a good Android tab still. Not as much as before but the demand is definitely there and no, not everyone wants an iPad.

I can't speak for everyone but for me, a tab is great for work, scribbling notes, viewing spreadsheets, etc. The extra screen estate is really useful.

The file management limitations of iOS makes an iPad not so suitable for work, especially when it comes to email attachments. I should know coz am typing this from my iPad Air 2

Anyways, super off topic liow. Back to the S8 and S8 Plus....

Would rather get a windows tablet or a ultrabook except if its 2k can consider anything higher its not worth because tablet value drop very fast.

from my observation there totally no high demand for tablet from samsung. My friend had a tablet its so nuisance that she end up not using it. It cant be a phone even it can make call. Everytime call need use earphones. Spen cannot dock into the tablet. You need carry separately.

Now interesting are the windows ultrabook or surface 5

You nailed it on your 2nd statement. File management on iOS is REALLY a b*atch to work with. I have an iPad Pro 256GB and all i do with such a massive storage is filling it up with my downloaded Spotify songs. Coz guess what, it sucks in handling other files. My previous Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition performed way better in file management than the the so-called Apple Pro 2016 flagship. It is that bad. I have it due to my company programs are on it, but other than that, a good Android tab is still really much needed.

Ya, I know. Using a Huawei Mediapad M3 for work now, it's less frustrating.

Your observation doesnt speak for the whole world sadly. You can google around on how the Tab S2 has been a good sell in some parts of developing countries, hence the decision and the guts for Samsung to release another version, even so, their latest is not really under-specced in nature. There's demand. I am only voicing out here out of spirit of discussion, not really wanting to argue on how somebody utilizes an Android tablet since there are gigantic phones being released every single month, so why would anyone need a tablet, rightt.. Maybe you are correct in a way that in Malaysia, such tablet isnt in great demand. I dont have any sale figures for Malaysia btw.

U have your point there. When i come on, my phones are kept away and use my Tab. Why? Because its much easier to view and also type on. Its much better to watch youtube and open facebook with. Btw, im typing this on my tab as I lay on my bed.

Actually all front black is correct choice, I much prefer front all black and only back others color.

Actually Samsung Exynos much better lei. Snapdragon is mainly for example USA market that demand only on Snapdragon.

The S8 is not big enough as a tab, even the S8+ also not.

Tab is not that high demand as mobile phone but not means it no market. Tab still is very different compare with mobile.

ya full black in front is a good choice as it doesn't have more space to put other colour since is fully used by the screen

wow. for me s7 looks better.better dynamic range and brighter. except that s7 white balance isnt as good as s8.s8 white balance tend to be in cooler side.
