I'm waiting for the Tab S3 also but somehow Samsung My has been quiet bout it. Maybe they would announce a bundle discount by purchasing both?

It's the latest and greatest Samsung tablet considering not many great Android tabs are released nowadays, how is it not a flagship, in regards with tablets. Anyway, maybe the demand wouldnt be as high as the S8 but it would be perfect for them to have both the tab and S8 sold together in an attractive bundle. Tab S3 isnt really under the spotlight after the S8 announcement, but having it sold together with S8, that would be the best bet to have consumers take a good look at the Tab S3. I'm all in if such bundle existed with a good discount.

Why would they release one if theres no such demand? I commend them for having the guts to release a good tablet in 2017 still despite risking of having it failed. Tab S2 has been a good sell for them, maybe not in My, but you can have a check around that there's demand for a good Android tab still. Not as much as before but the demand is definitely there and no, not everyone wants an iPad.

You nailed it on your 2nd statement. File management on iOS is REALLY a b*atch to work with. I have an iPad Pro 256GB and all i do with such a massive storage is filling it up with my downloaded Spotify songs. Coz guess what, it sucks in handling other files. My previous Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition performed way better in file management than the the so-called Apple Pro 2016 flagship. It is that bad. I have it due to my company programs are on it, but other than that, a good Android tab is still really much needed.

Your observation doesnt speak for the whole world sadly. You can google around on how the Tab S2 has been a good sell in some parts of developing countries, hence the decision and the guts for Samsung to release another version, even so, their latest is not really under-specced in nature. There's demand. I am only voicing out here out of spirit of discussion, not really wanting to argue on how somebody utilizes an Android tablet since there are gigantic phones being released every single month, so why would anyone need a tablet, rightt.. Maybe you are correct in a way that in Malaysia, such tablet isnt in great demand. I dont have any sale figures for Malaysia btw.

Ive been askin around and searching whether the microSD slot in the S8/+ supports the UHS-II bus speed card. Hopefully it does, this is one spec that most reviewers have missed out.

If S8/+ is something you've been eyeing on, have a little bit of patience and get it eventually. But not that it's a bad idea really to get the S7e imo since the price would be cheaper.

fair pricing if this is the real deal. at least not as expensive as iPhone 7/+ launch. but of course if could get a little bit of discount for those who pre-order would be better.

I'd love the Gear360 for a pre-order freebie and some discounts. The rest of the accessories, would buy after some reviews that those aren't just gimmicks like the VR and stuff. I'd prioritize buying a fast 128GB UHS-I microSD and a good case. Dex is good but starting price is a little bit high for me to warrant a purchase at launch. Most probably will wait for some heavy discount from Samsung themselves.

Maybe it's a sign that the price is gonna be shockingly high so they decide to reveal it last minute so that you would be trapped in either getting one because you've waited for it regardless of the high price or miss the PO deal completely.

I think that's a fair pricing especially for the S8+. Additional one-year warranty, and first year covers accidental damages including screen.

usually additional SenQ warranty needs to pay one. Initially I also wanted to buy with SenQ with additional warranty. But since Samsung themselves has given additional of 1 year extra so this time around no need for me to purchase the SenQ warranty.
